Describe the process of creating your one-shot and multi-shot films... How did you work as a group to develop what shots should be taken? How are you approaching the editing process? What have been some successes and hurdles in these first projects? How do you feel your views on film have changed now that you've had a taste of the work involved?
creating our one-shot story and our multi-shot story was fun but we had to think of something else to do because one of our partners left, but it was fun. we tried different angles and we did another idea but we like the one we are doing now. the way i approached the editing process is i looked at what we have then i looked at what i can do so i started messing around with the settings and i found some cool stuff that i can do. some successful things in these first projects are we found some good angles and we made it look real. some hurdles are i had to get pushed and our camera man thought he stopped recording but he didn't so we got a 2 minute video. i feel that my view of film have changed a lot because i know some good angles and i know how to do a lot more editing.

Consider the shots and camera movements we've defined, shot, and edited. Which is your favorite from those you captured for your commercial and why? Also, which is your least favorite shot/camera move and why? What has learning about all these shots/moves taught you about cinematography?

my favorite from our commercial is the close up when we were getting sprayed. i liked it because it was fun to film. my least favorite was the long-shot because we just had to sit there and let the camera man record us sitting. i have learned to take better photos/videos and good angles, also i learned

Reflect on the process of creating your TV Show Pilot: 1) Provide a logline (plot in a single sentence) for your original CJ6: Screenplay. 2) Connect what you designed for CJ7: costume(s) to the story you created - why did you design what you designed based on the story? 3) Tell, too, about the TV Show Pilot you filmed and edited with your group... 3a) what was it like to work with a script and 3b) what types of shot(s) do you feel brought the show to life most?
my screenplay was about someone whos dog died and he was really upset and was mean to his friend. i designed it based on the story because the guys dog died. we filmed about an ice cream shop that only had three flavors and someone asked someone to be their valentines but she already had a boyfriend so the boyfriend punched the guy. it was fun to work with the script. we used close-up, medium close-up, and long shot, two shot, handheld over the shoulder, medium shot.

Share your ups and downs of film making on your blog, and how you plan to continue to grow in the second half of the class. Do this by writing about your two biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films? For each, provide an example of the barrier you encountered this term as well as a solution you plan to initiate in the second term to overcome this barrier. Then finish off the entry by recalling the biggest success or an ah-ha moment that you've had this term. Provide details about what made it a great moment for you and how you felt you grew from the experience.

some of my downs of film making are not knowing the right angle to use or what animation or how to put videos together to make it look good or what song to use. some of my ups are getting the right angle and editing it just right to make it look good. i plan to grow in the second half of the class by keep practicing and trying new thing like new angles and views and lighting. the biggest success i had was the switch spray, it looked good and it was fun to shoot.

Describe your experience shooting this project in the film studio with the added lighting elements. How do you feel the studio time affected your final product quality? Additionally, how did you approach the montage portion of your film. Describe what you chose to cut together and what effect you hope for it to have on your audience as a part of your "Flash Forward" film.

it was fun to shoot it, but you could here when someone is talking in the footage. i feel it effected our final product quality by giving us more ideas we can use to film it. i approached it by looking at all the footage and putting it in order to make it look good. i chose to cut together 3 people that are graduating from high school and its a flash back to when one of the people were young and how much they grew and what happened.

Hitchcock is know as the Master of Suspense. Recall in detail a time when you felt a film had you most on edge--- either scared, excited, distressed, or passionate. What do you remember from the film itself (text, lighting, sound, set-up) that you believe made it truly effective? As a film maker yourself, what emotions do you think you'd be best at effecting in your audience and how do you imagine you would go about doing it?

i don't remember the name but it was a horror film and it was dark for most of the movie and the sound was good yes i believe it made it truly effective to the film. the emotion id be best at effecting is excitement because it is easy to make it seem like your excited. and i don't know how i would go at it

best actor because you can do a lot of stunts and make the audience believe that you actually got hit or fell
