Hi my name is Judith, what made me choose this class was I've always been interested in the making of some of my favorite movies which when i came along this class i just had to take it not only for the interest in the making of the movies but because one day i would like to make my movie or even edit some family video's. I hope i learn a lot in this class not just of making movies but in communicating with other people. One of my favorite movie is Black Panther and my favorite show is On My Block. i will always like this show and movie because not only is it entertaining but its also gives you a lesson in life and one day i want to make a movie that inspires people in life and make mistakes because you only live once to not make mistakes and by mistakes everyone learns a lesson.

Our group communicated and added ideas and places to take the shots and helped one another to make our videos better and more clearer and set the camera in a good angle to get good footage. At first the editing process was stressful but once you get the hang of it then you start learning more and more as you start making more videos to edit. In the first project i didn't really understand most of the work especially the editing part cause there was so many things on the computer and so many things that with one wrong push you'll delete everything but know i know the struggle was worth it because the work really pays off. Now that i have had some sort of experience its much easier than the first try and you really do learn and develop on your skills and you finish editing your videos much faster and every video you learn so many new things as you go and keep on building on your old ideas especially on your mistakes.

I really liked the low angle shot because it gave good lighting. move and why i really didn't like the wide shot because it really didn't have a point because they weren't doing much except just figure the setting and who's in the commercial. it has thought me that being a cinematographer is hard its not just simply about taking good pictures its also about getting the right angles and having the right light and setting to go with whats going around.

My TV show pilot is about a new girl accidentally bump into the schools bad boy and they get in a argument because and as the new girl defends herself the bad boy takes interest in the new girl. My design is of the new girls outfit which consist of a plain blue crop top and Black high waist jeans i choose this because it was simple and it went with how she acts. The show that my group and i did was about a wife finding out that her husband cheated on him the confronting him on it but when he leaves she leaves too but she goes to a coffee shop and meets a new guy. Working with the script and filming it with out knowing your lines is pretty hard especially when you don't have the tools you need, but other than that it was easy to edit it on most parts. what shot brought the story to life was when the husband and wife were arguing.

A lot of my downs were on editing because its not easy learning how to edit when you know you can miss a little thing that can bring your grade down. A lot of my ups were messing up on one video but i learn a lot by my mistakes i take not of them to so i wont forget that mistake.
One of my barriers was being to scared to try new things like trying to put my videos out there i'm the type of person that isn't secure on them selves. Another barrier was being scared on making a mistake but i soon found how to learn from those mistakes.
As i said my first barrier was putting myself out there this second term i am going to try putting myself out there with my creations. I will try to to learn from my mistakes and take notes on them so i will remember what i did wrong and see if i'm doing that mistake then i will fix it.
One of my biggest success was making my script were at first i was confused but as i read my friends i started getting it so i wrote my own script and it wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be. That was a great moment because i had to read others people script in order for me to get a good idea about what mine has to look like. I felt good with this experience because it tought me a lot an writing scripts.

It affected because you had to explain how everything started but since we were prepared we did great. The montage was hard because ours had childhood memories. I hope it comes out how i want it to come out and that the audience likes our flash forward.

Well that happens to happen every time i watch suspense films i just get so into the movie that i wont move from the couch because i don't want to miss something important its like the film swallows me into the movie and it feels like i'm in the film. the sound made it more intense like the suspense music and the lighting when it turned to a action scene it turned dark or on the creepy scenes when the light would go intense or dark and the music will get creepy and slow.the film would have to show a lot of action and scenes that will have you at the end of your seat.

I really liked the videos other people showed but some put the same video which i thought was really annoying i wish they could've chose different one that weren't shown already but the rest of the videos were fine.
this film course has really showed me how hard using a camera is and editing has to take time and focus on what your doing because in one simple mistake your whole video can be ruined. for the rest of film it was really fun making new friends and experiencing new things.
