I am Riley, I love movies so I must be in the right class. I have always wanted to learn how movies are created, and how to become an a possible actor or a camera person in a movie in the future. I don't really have a favorite movie I love to many, but I do have a favorite show that is Naruto. What inspires me to make a movie or be in a movie is that it looks like so much fun and I have always wanted to be in a movie since I was 7.

Q: Describe the process of creating your one-shot and multi-shot films... How did you work as a group to develop what shots should be taken? How are you approaching the editing process? What have been some successes and hurdles in these first projects? How do you feel your views on film have changed now that you've had a taste of the work involved?
A: when creating my one shot story first I put the video in adobe after affects then I added a title and moved the video after it then I cut the end where I thought it should end then created end credits for the multi shot story I took all the shots and put them in adobe after affects and I edit it and then I will added a title. We diced on how to make the shots by putting all our ideas together and coming to an executive decision. I am going through each shot and deciding which ones are good and bad. There have been mistakes in these first projects. My views on film have not been changed but proven.

Q:Consider the shots and camera movements we've defined, shot, and edited. Which is your favorite from those you captured for your commercial and why? Also, which is your least favorite shot/camera move and why? What has learning about all these shots/moves taught you about cinematography?
A:The extreme close up shot is my favorite in my commercial because there usually pretty funny. My least favorite is none I did not have one I had a hard time choosing my favorite actually. All these shots and moves taught me that cinematography takes a bit of work but is fun.

Q:Reflect on the process of creating your TV Show Pilot: 1) Provide a logline (plot in a single sentence) for your original CJ6: Screenplay. 2) Connect what you designed for CJ7: costume(s) to the story you created - why did you design what you designed based on the story? 3) Tell, too, about the TV Show Pilot you filmed and edited with your group... 3a) what was it like to work with a script and 3b) what types of shot(s) do you feel brought the show to life most?
A:the process was first watch all the video and then move it to adobe after affects save it delete the ones I did not like and add title music credits and blooper. My show is this guy who can't help getting in trouble on his search for lemons. I designed what I designed because I wanted to give each character there own stile and something that will make the viewers laugh. We used Patrick script we kept forgetting our lines and when to talk and not have the script in the shot. it was a little difficult to work with the script but in the end it all worked out. I felt the first person perspective shots brought the film most to life.

Share your ups and downs of film making on your blog, and how you plan to continue to grow in the second half of the class Do this by writing about:
1) What are your two biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films? For each, provide an example of the barrier you encountered this term as well as a solution you plan to initiate in the second term to overcome this barrier.
2) Then finish off the entry by recalling the biggest success or an ah-ha moment that you've had this term. Provide details about what made it a great moment for you and how you felt you grew from the experience.

My two biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films are when I am making the film I worry that I will do something wrong and fail so then what I go through multiple times and make sure it is finished correctly and I try not to worry so much. Another barrier is that I don't believe I will finish in time so what I do is try my hardest to get it in on time and tell my self I will finish on time. The biggest success or ah ha moment that I had this term was in my two films the Montage and Happy / Magic Tape I chose these two because I thought I did my best in them what made it such a great moment for the films was that one of them was seen by the class and the other I just feel like I am going to get a good grade on it and it's one of my better ones.

Q: Describe your experience shooting this project in the film studio with the added lighting elements. How do you feel the studio time affected your final product quality? Additionally, how did you approach the montage portion of your film. Describe what you chose to cut together and what effect you hope for it to have on your audience as a part of your "Flash Forward" film.

A: My experience in the film studio with the added lighting elements was good we got to experience the outcome of using lighting professionally and how to make better videos with the new knowledge of lighting. I feel like studio time affected our final project positively and made our final project better. We approached the montage portion of the film by shooting the film in between other scenes. I have chosen to put the judge and Rob talking and pan the rest out after that and I hope that the audience will find my video visually interesting and a good Flash forward film.

Q: Hitchcock is know as the Master of Suspense. Recall in detail a time when you felt a film had you most on edge--- either scared, excited, distressed, or passionate. What do you remember from the film itself (text, lighting, sound, set-up) that you believe made it truly effective? As a film maker yourself, what emotions do you think you'd be best at effecting in your audience and how do you imagine you would go about doing it?

A:The film that had me most on edge was "The Boy", this was because it was a suspenseful thriller movie that made me sit on the edge of my seat because I did not know what was coming next. I remember oblige shots with low lighting at certain points this really put me on edge Because you thought something was going to attack. I think the emotions I would make my audience feel is humor I would go about it by editing it so that the film is funny.

You're funny but you need to stop looking at the camera. It's scary.

My thoughts on the school year and the my favorite film is that over this year I have grown as an editor and a movie watcher. My thoughts on the film festival is that it was really fun and I choose that film because I thought it was my best edited and most fun to do.
