My name is Alex. I am a student at RC. At home I help my parents, do my hobbies and handout with my friends. I have been wanting to know how to make YouTube videos so I signed up hoping it will help me learn how to make vids overall. My main goal that I would like to accomplish is to learn how to edit a video and what is the best way of taking videos so it would be interesting to watch.

How do film-makers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scène? They get a capture a lot of pictures the spin then really fast and it will look like a film.
1) Give a fact from early film-making that inspired our work these last few weeks. We tried to practice with the one shot story because back in the day they took a lot of shots from one place.
2) Define and describe at least one concept regarding the Elements of Art that artists use while creating their films. They use tone the darker the person is the farther he is and the more colored he is the closer he is.
3) Also, consider the art works you filmed and edited; discuss your experience filming with a group and editing using new software. Honestly for me it was really fun to edit and record I always wanted to know how to edit.
4) How, if at all, has your point-of-view shifted in regard to the art of film-making? My point of coming to this class was to learn how to edit and record in the best position but the thing is not half of the course went by and I already know so much every single day I learn something new.

Why is cinema both the most realistic and also the most artificial of the arts? 1) Consider the shots and camera movements we've defined, shot, and edited. Which is your favorite from those you captured for your commercial and why? 2) Also, which is your least favorite shot/camera move and why? 3) What has learning about all these shots/moves taught you about cinematography? 4) How do you feel shot type and editing play into the "reality" of film?
It can express so much things in real life and it can so much things that are not possible in the real word. 1) We used long shot, hand held, low and high angle shot, zoom out and full shot and they used pan, tracking, and tilt for the camera moving angles. 2) My favorite was the full shot because it showed the part of me getting bullied and the main purpose of the commercial was to buy a bully. 3) It showed me that you can make such a more interesting movie by making different shots. 4) I feel really happy that I can have this experience and it told me so much how to edit and make a movie 20x better from the smallest details.

How do filmmakers utilize the theory of montage as a part of cinematic language? And, how does this compare to continuity editing's voice in the cinematic language?
1) Describe montage in relation to how the shots are combined and compare/contrast that with continuity editing.
2) Use example sequences from your "TV Show Pilot" to bring these two dialects of cinematic language to life.
3) How has your film-making, in regard to the process (writing/planning/filming/editing), grown since the beginning of the term?
1) To make the montage you will need to put all the shots in order and together. Continuity is more of like a show or montage.
2) So you just need to take live while your making the show or movie. One thing that we said was "Long day" and the other person said "Tell me about it."
3)So first you have a lot of different shots scattered then you need to put them in order and throw away the bad shots and edit the good ones.

1) Do this by writing about your (2) two biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films, referencing ideas from the article "5 Psychological Mistakes that Beginning Filmmakers Make, & How to Avoid Them". The 2 main biggest barriers for me is fear for the camera and when i do my projects I do it to the point when i think it is good enough so i do not want to do better.
2) For each, provide an example of a barrier you encountered this term as well as a solution you plan to initiate in the second term to overcome this barrier. I will do the best of my ability and not be lazy and stop being scared to be on camera.
3) Then, finish off the entry by recalling the biggest success or ah-ha moment you've had this term. Provide details about what made it a great moment for you and how you felt you grew from the experience. For me was when i finished my first project because i learned a lot from that before i didn't know how to edit anything now i know how to do something, i learned a lot from this class.

Consider your likeness to Orson Welles as he broke the rules and invented new ones to rise to fame as one of the Golden Age of Hollywood's most impressive directors. 1) What's one of the things you've discovered over the course of making a number of short films that works well for you as you pre-produce, film, and edit? 2) What's something new you've gained from pre-production and filming this project that has helped you to expand your creativity in filmmaking? 3) To what extent has using the studio changed the way you think about your filmmaking?
1)I noticed how important pre production is and how it effects your project so much. Also that editing takes a lot of time and it is best to save early and save often. The last one from filming is that it does not have to be perfect it is better to make it funny, it makes it more enjoyable to make and watch.
2) One thing that made my filming better was you should put some excitement and jazz to it to just make it fun.
3) I learned that you have to speak clear for the camera to hear it and for the people watching ti to understand.

What spurned the growth of various genres in mid-20th Century and how do they influence filmmakers today? 1) Describe why on of the classic genres we studies was created. 2) How do you see this classic genre influencing film/TV/media today? 3) What genres are you blending in your "Genre Crossover" project and how are you bringing specific elements of the genre to the screen in your short film"?
1)It was created to put more thought and creativity into it.
2)I overall like it, for some reason it seems pretty interesting and unique for me.
3)In my ''Genre Crossover" I decided to use comedy and sport and we do this by playing soccer and make it funny.
