My name is Angelikah and I am a freshmen and I am 13 years old. I don't know what I want to do in the future all I know is I want to work with people who I don't know and I am interested in being a social worker, psychologist or work for the FBI interviewing suspects. I also plan to go to a 4 year university. I took this class because I thought it would be fun and interesting.

How do film-makers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scène?
1) Give a fact from early film-making that inspired our work these last few weeks.
2) Define and describe at least one concept regarding the Elements of Art that artists use while creating their films.
3) Also, consider the art works you filmed and edited; discuss your experience filming with a group and editing using new software.
4) How, if at all, has your point-of-view shifted in regard to the art of film-making?

1. the Lumiere brothers made many short films. they did inspire us when we made our films.

2.film makers use texture when making a film if they need to make a shark or starfish that they can't actually have, they need good texture to make it look real for the audience.

3.It was interesting working with a group to make make footage. that we would later work on.
4. I definitely know more about the work of film-making and kind of how it happens.

1. my favorite shot from the commercial was pan and tilt because you can do so much from that.
2.my least favorite shot is handheld because when you watch it it can give you a headache.
3. It has taught me that a lot of work goes through to make a good film.
4. you have to make sure it is good and make sure that you look over it.

1. montage places shots together to really move the audience and you can add on to the filming with continuity editing.
2.in our TV show pilot we used montage by showing the trees that were around us. we also use continuity editing by giving a reverse shot and establishing shot
3.my film making has grown since the beginning term because at the beginning term and didn't know how to do any of this.

1. my two biggest psychological barriers is to much typing and not making enough narrative content.
2.for typing to much I can get lost in the typing then I don't know how to finish it. I can think about where I want the story to go before I start writing it. My second one was not getting enough narrative content,Because sometimes I don't make my story my priority.
3.my biggest aha moment was when I figured out how to write a screen play.

1.one of the things I've discovered while filming is how to edit films and record them.
2.one thing I've gained that has helped me expand my creativity is just making more short films so I already know how to work the camera so its easier to expand my creativity without worrying about the camera.
3.Using the studio changed the way I think about filmmaking because I knew all of the light but I didn't know how they all worked and how it looked.

1) Describe why on of the classic genres we studies was created.
2) How do you see this classic genre influencing film/TV/media today?
3) What genres are you blending in your "Genre Crossover" project and how are you bringing specific elements of the genre to the screen in your short film"?
1.film noir was created to create more of a dark setting.
2.people could start wanting to get into more horror or suspense movies.
3.the genres we are using in the genre crossover are comedy hitchcock and fantasy
