My nickname is Chris and one of my goals in life is to visit Japan because i want to learn more about their culture, aesthetics and their way of life. I am also trying to learn their language. By doing this it opens up more possibilities for me like jobs.

How do film-makers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scène? 1) The one shot story was inspired by the Lumiere because we had had to do everything in one shot.--> Give a fact from early film-making that inspired our work these last few weeks. 2) Artists definitely use color for their films because color brings out a new felling to films---> Define and describe at least one concept regarding the Elements of Art that artists use while creating their films. 3) I do look at films in a different way than i use to and i also like making films of my own---> Also, consider the art works you filmed and edited; discuss your experience filming with a group and editing using new software. 4) My POV didn't change at all--> How, if at all, has your point-of-view shifted in regard to the art of film-making?

Why is cinema both the most realistic and also the most artificial of the arts? 1)<---Because it uses all the elements of art. Consider the shots and camera movements we've defined, shot, and edited. Which is your favorite from those you captured for your commercial and why? 2)<-- zoom in because its a funny shot to use and its hard to not laugh when its being used on you. Also, which is your least favorite shot/camera move and why? 3)<--- Extreme close up because its difficult to use right. What has learning about all these shots/moves taught you about cinematography? 4)<--- It taught me hoe complicated filming really is but fun at the same time. How do you feel shot type and editing play into the "reality" of film? Depends on how you use it really for example if you were to do a zoom in on a scene were the character was explaining something no one would take them serious.

How do filmmakers utilize the theory of montage as a part of cinematic language? And, how does this compare to continuity editing's voice in the cinematic language?
1) Describe montage in relation to how the shots are combined and compare/contrast that with continuity editing.
Montage kinda deals with setting the mood and continuity editing deals with the narrative part of the film.
2) Use example sequences from your "TV Show Pilot" to bring these two dialects of cinematic language to life.
We used more Montage the Continuity edits in our film.
3) How has your film-making, in regard to the process (writing/planning/filming/editing), grown since the beginning of the term?
I've definitively gotten better at filming for sure.

1) My ups in this class are that i don't get distracted as much and i have fun
2) My 2 barriers are worrying about failure and caring too much about whats popular.
3) My greatest success in this term was when I finished my multi shot story

1) Describe why on of the classic genres we studies was created.
First films were in black and white and then started to come in color
2) How do you see this classic genre influencing film/TV/media today?
Well we got some good movies out of Noir and some of them impacted movies today
3) What genres are you blending in your "Genre Crossover" project and how are you bringing specific elements of the genre to the screen in your short film"?
Mainly black and white with almost the same clothing too
