At home I tend to mostly stay in my room and do my own thing whether that is watching Youtube or playing games i'm usually up to something. I hope to become a lawyer and hopefully enjoy it but be successful in that path. I have interests in film because of videos and movies that I've watched and being impressed with the editing of those videos and movies. What I am hoping to gain is being more skilled in editing so that possibly more career paths could open up if it doesn't go the way I want it to.

How do film-makers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scène? 1) Give a fact from early film-making that inspired our work these last few weeks | One fact that inspired our work was from our previous one shot story which gave us an idea on how to film better overall and help us think of an idea. 2) Define and describe at least one concept regarding the Elements of Art that artists use while creating their films | Some concepts of how they use elements of art while creating films is by adding texture to things like walls and the floors so that the person watching can imagine the feel. Another concept is how they use structures as shape. 3) Also, consider the art works you filmed and edited; discuss your experience filming with a group and editing using new software | Honestly the experience of filming and being apart of what felt like a movie was fun and not to mention the occasional messing around that gave everyone a good laugh and took away from the seriousness of filming. 4) How, if at all, has your point-of-view shifted in regard to the art of film-making? }How do film-makers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scène? 1) Give a fact from early film-making that inspired our work these last few weeks. 2) Define and describe at least one concept regarding the Elements of Art that artists use while creating their films. 3) Also, consider the art works you filmed and edited; discuss your experience filming with a group and editing using new software. 4) How, if at all, has your point-of-view shifted in regard to the art of film-making? | My point of view orginally was that all it was was just constant filming and pretty much zero fun. However i now realize that it's actually fun and we actually have fun while filming and experimenting with different scenes and takes and in all you can just have lots of control while filming.

Why is cinema both the most realistic and also the most artificial of the arts? 1) Consider the shots and camera movements we've defined, shot, and edited. Which is your favorite from those you captured for your commercial and why? | My personal favorite out of all of the shot to do is probably the handheld as It feels like you have more freedom in a way with it and it can also make for good footage. 2) Also, which is your least favorite shot/camera move and why? | My least favorite one is probably the 3/4 shot as in my opinion I don't think it works that well and it doesn't make that good of a shot. 3) What has learning about all these shots/moves taught you about cinematography? | It has taught me that there is actually a name for all these shots and that directors probably spend lots of time picking the right shot to fit what kind of emotion they want the audience to feel 4) How do you feel shot type and editing play into the "reality" of film? | I feel like shot types can play into reality with shots like perspective shots where it can really make you feel like you are the person in the movie.

How do filmmakers utilize the theory of montage as a part of cinematic language? And, how does this compare to continuity editing's voice in the cinematic language?
1) Describe montage in relation to how the shots are combined and compare/contrast that with continuity editing. | Montage is used to show rapid scenes that are usually over long periods of time. Continuity editing is used to show smooth transitions between scenes.
2) Use example sequences from your "TV Show Pilot" to bring these two dialects of cinematic language to life. | An example is when we filmed a training scene and instead of showing the long process of the training we shortened it down to a minute.
3) How has your film-making, in regard to the process (writing/planning/filming/editing), grown since the beginning of the term? | I think that it has grown a little bit since I started but there is still time to improve even more.

1)Do this by writing about your two biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films, referencing ideas from the article "5 Psychological Mistakes that Beginning Filmmakers Make, & How to Avoid Them". | One barrier is that I'm not being as creative as I could be. Another one i being scared to fail and being embarassed 2) For each, provide an example of a barrier you encountered this term as well as a solution you plan to initiate in the second term to overcome this barrier. | I can overcome these barriers by not worrying about how other people see it and doing what's fun 3)Then, finish off the entry by recalling the biggest success or ah-ha moment you've had this term. Provide details about what made it a great moment for you and how you felt you grew from the experience. | A big aha moment was when we really took advantage of the many different shots

Consider your likeness to Orson Welles as he broke the rules and invented new ones to rise to fame as one of the Golden Age of Hollywood's most impressive directors. 1) What's one of the things you've discovered over the course of making a number of short films that works well for you as you pre-produce, film, and edit? I've found that communication can help a lot when filming and just having everyone know what's going on and developing the whole story beforehand can allow everyone to pitch in and give ideas. 2) What's something new you've gained from pre-production and filming this project that has helped you to expand your creativity in filmmaking? One thing that I've learned is to use references to help in deciding what to do for film 3) To what extent has using the studio changed the way you think about your filmmaking? It's changed the way that ive looked at filming is being able to use more things in filming.
