My name is Noah, I'm 14 and I am an amateur video producer in Hank's 1st period Video Production class. From this class, i would like to develop a basic understanding and fundamentals of producing videos and short films to potentially turn it into a career. More specifically, I would like to learn to be at least proficient with Adobe After Effects.

My views on film have changed for the better as I now believe I have a better understanding of what goes into the making of a film, so I now have a much greater respect for the industry and the people within it who do it as a career.

Out of all the shots captured in the commercial project, the best one has to be the low angle, as it shows the characters in a great amount of collective detail. The worst one shot was the high angle, as when the footage was looked back on, it didn't show very much detail

My views on film have changed in such a way that I now feel I can appreciate video as much more than a film, but as an art. If you look at shots from the commercial, you can see shots inspired by other directors works, which I have now learned to observe much better.

The quarter so far has been a doozy. A quarter filled with film, filming stories,film-based stories, and more than anything, beating up Rahitesh. I can honestly say I do have a much better appreciation for film and all the work that goes into it. Going into this class, if you would have told me to film a melodrama, I would have looked at you like you were crazy. but now all I need is a camera and After Effects.
This couldn't have been done however, without the assistance of a great group. The most important thing on a set is a crew with chemistry and it goes without saying that our group has no lack of it. Everyone listens to one another and are even very helpful in the editing process.

Your commentary is excellent to hear. I'm glad that you can reflect to see what progress you've made over a short time. I'm glad too that you found a cohesive group that allows everyone to be creative. That's the real magic in filmmaking; allowing the best of each of us to make a product that is really outstanding! Great work. Keep it up.

Filming in the studio is both a curse and a blessing, as it restricts the creator, but also gives the creator much better equipment to work with. While it is difficult to film in such a confined space, being in that confined space gives us access to things like controlled lighting, a boom mic, props, and even a green screen.

Best director because you came up with the ideas.

Best Actor, you never look at the camera ever, unlike someone else. Do what your supposed to do and do it well

Best director hands down. Our videos would not be the same without your expertise. You also have great acting skills. Noah's directing, acting, and beat down skills are tremendous.
