My name is Anastasia Kumar. I always wanted to learn how to edit videos and also film videos. Being in this class will hopefully teach me that. I always wanted to be a beauty guru on YouTube but could not because of me not knowing how to edit the videos recorded. Goals for the future is to become a Registered Nurse. This class has nothing really to do with my career choice but it seems like a fun class to try something new out and just step out of my box since I never done anything like this.

Doing the one shot story was so much easier to create because all you had to do was find a shot you liked and maybe cut the beginning and end a little bit but with the multi shot story I had to put more than 10 slides together and cut them at a very specific time or else the scene before that would not go with it. We all came up with the same ideas and if someone's idea was not used it was because it didn't work. The editing process was hard In the beginning but slowly I got the hang of it. I was so confused with the first project. Adding text was the hardest part for me because whenever I would add text it would go away and be somewhere else. My views on film are still the same I knew it would be fun but hard and confusing until I get the hang of it.

My favorite has to be the 3 quarter shot. It's my favorite because its not too close up and its not too far away. it shows just enough. My least favorite is definitely the close up because its too close to my face and shows every detail that i don't want shown. I learned that shots matter a lot. If you want a very good film, doing one shot is nothing throughout the whole video.

Our process of the story was a girl who keeps moving schools and keeps struggling to find new friends. We designed this because it is a struggle to find friends. it was difficult to record based on a film because it was free styling it.

My psychological barrier has to be failing and making sure its perfect. When i could just go with the flow and a decent video. Another barrier is making sure the story is interesting to everyone and not just me. Making sure everyone likes it is a big thing.
