My names Chris and i'm taking this class because I wanna be a rapper when i'm older and I wanna learn how to make music videos. I don't really know what i'd describe myself as. What I am seeking from this class is to learn how to make music videos and that can help me move towards my goals by making it easier for me to make music videos and edit them.

How do filmmakers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scène? - - Describe the process of creating your one-shot and multi-shot films... How did you work as a group to develop what shots should be taken? How are you approaching the editing process? What have been some successes and hurdles in these first projects? How do you feel your views on film have changed now that you've had a taste of the work involved?

Film makers develop and convey stories within the mise-en-scene by letting the story develop. During the making of my groups one-shot and multi-shot films we worked as a group and planned the parts and then we had set everything up and it worked well to take all the shots. Also in the first projects we haven't really had anything bad happen because its easy. Also i will approach the editing process by taking my time and trying to get it good. Finally my opinion on film has not changed because of the work involved I still want to learn about it.

Describe your experience shooting this project in the film studio with the added lighting elements. How do you feel the studio time affected your final product quality? Additionally, how did you approach the montage portion of your film. Describe what you chose to cu together and what effect you hope for it to have on your audience.

While filming in the studio the lighting elements were different because there was different ways to use the light. The studio did not have a big difference in the quality of the video. For the montage part of the film im going to put different parts in it. I hope it has a good affect for the audience

Consider the shots and camera movements we've defined, shot, and edited. Which is your favorite from those you captured for your commercial and why? Also, which is your least favorite shot/camera move and why? What has learning about all these shots/moves taught you about cinematography?

My favorite shot from our commercial is the 3/4 shot because we used that one the most in the commercial. My least favorite shot is the high shot because i don't really like how it looks and i wouldn't use it personally. Learning about all of these shots and moves has taught me that cinematography is on the borderline of easy and hard but it's worth it because its fun to do

Reflect on the process of creating a TV Show Pilot: Provide the logline for your original screenplay and connect your costume designs and ad campaign to the story you created... why did you design what you designed based on the story? Tell, too, about the TV Show Pilot you filmed and edited with your group... what was it like to work with a script and what types of shot(s) do you feel brought the show to life most?

The log-line for my screenplay was batman and robin and a alien. I designed the costumes based on there actual costumes in the movies. The TV show pilot we recorded was about someone stealing jerky and it was fun working with the scripts but it was confusing trying to get different angles. Also yes i feel
like we did bring the show to life.

What are some of your biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films? Share your ups and downs of filmmaking on your blog, and how you plan to continue to grow in the second half of the class.

Some barriers that I have encountered in film is the editing part and making certain shots. Also its difficult to montage things but ill get the hang of these things. I plan to continue to grow in this class by learning new things about film and I plan to learn about the different shots and the different editing tools on the computer.

Soon, you'll be pitching an idea for a feature film in this class. What genre do you think you'll focus your creativity on? Why are you drawn to this genre? What do you find most interesting about this genre? What would you hope others would get from your work if you were to create films in this genre?

The creativity ill focus on is probably suspense. The reason I like the genre is because its easy and its fun to do. I find it interesting because of the roles and the way it looks. I hope that they would understand the film.

Describe your most recent shoot recording a music video. Which song did you choose and what type of concept or mixture of concepts did you capture. Describe what you the final product looks like and how you'd define it in regard to "documentary," "low concept," &/or "high concept." What are you most proud of with this project?

For the video shoot we had our friend dancing to a song we found on you tube. The final product will be a video of him dancing to the song. With this project im most proud of the editing im doing for my video.
