My name is Karla Rivera and I am a Junior and an early grad here in River City High School. After High School, i'm going to be attending community collage in Sacramento City Collage and finish all my general ed. When I get older I want to be in the Film Industry and learn everything there is to know. Some of my hobbys are, spending time with family, eating, and watching YouTube videos. I hope that after taking this film class, I will know a lot about using the camera, angles, and how to edit videos.

During our multi shot scene, our different angles all helped get a better perspective of the true story and what is really going on. We get angles where the camera is in the bottom making the person look bigger and powerful. I'm barely learning in my editing process but I want to do scary music for the parts when Anna comes in.Views on the film will definitely increase because there is much more going on in the story and its more interesting. Specially the angles.

My favorite commercial shot is a zoom in shot because its funny to me when an object is far and it just zooms in to the object giving it a better look of what it is and styling it more. My least favorite is the over the shoulder. I just don't really like how we cant see the persons face when they are speaking to the person we can fully see. I dont like that angle. What i have learned about cinematography is that angles and different aspects of a scene really make a difference and an effect of what the scene will come out as.

Creating a pilot for a .TV show was very fun. The people that I was working with have very creative minds and our plot left people with wondering what will happen next. Two girls in a cruise having fun and one of them gets captured.

Some of the mistakes that I make as a content creator is worrying too much about the dialogue and what is going to be said. I dont worry much about failure because if I fail I learn and i will know what not to do. I don't really care much about the popular things that are out. My ups in film making is that its just something that I love to do as a hobby, its fun and I really enjoy editing. This is a class that I look forward to everyday and its something that I want to bring int my future. Some of my downs is that in my editing, my choices for music are very limited because there could be so many copyright issues. Other then that, I really like this class and my goal into bringing to next semester is to learn more editing tricks and finding more free to use music with out copyright. My group and I could also be bettering our acting skills and get into character.

Working on our montage was a very fun experience. The lighting definitely made the mood of the scenes how we wanted it. For example we had a murder scene and the red lighting really made it feel a little more into the dark mean feeling. On the montage portion, Im still not very good on the editing and knowing how to layer my pieces.

In my group we did the song "Rick Flair Drip" by Offset. We did a lot of low angle, close ups and widescreen angles. We kinda had a story line where Ana basically takes Melissa and Cece to the parking lot to show them the cars I dont know but we had a high concept quality video because there we had no story line but we had some symbolic shots of fashion with the shoes and the clothing.
