I used to do theater a lot, and i was in many plays. I also did commercials as a baby, and I was a foot model. I've been interested in being in front of a camera and scripts for almost all my life. I hope this class helps me understand how cameras capture different angles and how a film comes together.

When making the one shot and multi shot stories, my team and I had to plan out ahead of time what we wanted to do, where we wanted to go, and how we were going to film. To decide what shots were taken we looked for the best angle and how well we could shoot from there. For the editing process, i am cutting clips so that they transition smoothly and look cool. One thing that has been a struggle for me is figuring out how to get the videos in after affects and composition settings, but i can cut and trim videos pretty nice. I think film is actually really hard and you have to pay attention to small details.

My favorite shot or camera movement we've used for the commercial is the zoom in because it can show someones facial expression better, and it can also add a funny side to whatever it is your filming. My least favorite camera shot is probably the extreme close up just because it is kind of weird having to look at our faces from that close. I've learned that filming shots is actually complex and there are many different angles.

Bagged is about friends who go on a cruise and a girl gets kidnapped. We chose normal every day clothes to show how they didnt expect to get kidnapped, and it was just a normal day. It was hard to work wioh a script because remembering what to say is hard and confusing. Being able to have a slow motion shot in the video was cool and it showed how the other girl reacts better than if she was just running normal.

When I make films, I get nervous and scared that they will look stupid, or they wont make any sense. I usually spend a lot of time just trying to make sure everything actually makes sense which stresses me out. With the montage we did for midterms, I kind of just did what I wanted and stopped caring so much if others would think it made sense, and just cared about if it made sense to me. I think that next half of the class I will make what makes me happy and what is cool to me.

It was hard to film this because i didnt know how to use lighting and the studio time was not enough. The film is hard to make and still does not make sense.

I think ill focus my creativity on the thriller and dramatic sides. I like this genre because it is very interesting, and can always have different endings.

I chose to do the song Call Out My Name by The Weeknd. We did a low concept video with characters and a story. It looks pretty good and the clips make sense to the song. We played out how a real life story would go, and did not have anything symbolic in it. I am proud of the close ups we did.
