My name is mark I am a 15 year old male. My relation to this class is that I like to work in video editing. I like to film and then edit it and make it as perfect as possible. I am still learning on how to use all the equipment and programs but in the future im hoping to know more about everything.My biggest goal is to end the class with a lot of knowledge on what this class is based of and to pass this class with a B or A.

First what we did is talked about a story and then the placement of the camera were it will capture. Then we choose who is going to be in the shot and if we are going to use any props. After we get done with the film we go back and edit the film. When we edit i make sure to have a title and trim the excess captures. Also I like to have a credits at the end of the film. Then I just summit it after it is how I want it to be.

​Reflect on the process of creating a TV Show Pilot: Provide the logline for your original screenplay and connect your costume designs and ad campaign to the story you created... why did you design what you designed based on the story? Tell, too, about the TV Show Pilot you filmed and edited with your group... what was it like to work with a script and what types of shot(s) do you feel brought the show to life most?

I made a google docs and I started to think about an idea and wrote my story and made a script for it. I then got with my group and we decided to choose a story out of ours. I we went out and filmed the story. After I filmed it we edited it and finished the costumes for the story my story.

What are some of your biggest psychological barriers when it comes to making films? Share your ups and downs of film making on your blog, and how you plan to continue to grow in the second half of the class.

I think film making is all about make a film using a story. My ups and downs are that you can literally make a film about anything. The thing I like there is no right or wrong film. The downs are if you want you film to be very good you have to have a lot of time put into the film. I plan to get all my work down for this class and hope that I passed my mid-term test. :D

Soon, you'll be pitching an idea for a feature film in this class. What genre do you think you'll focus your creativity on? Why are you drawn to this genre? What do you find most interesting about this genre? What would you hope others would get from your work if you were to create films in this genre?

I would be focusing on a horror genre in the future film in this class. I am drawn to this genre because it is a fun genre to make a film out of. I find most interesting about horror is that you can make a suspense scene and it can be very exiting to the audience. I think people would learn the affects i would use and the choice a music or sound affects I would use.

Describe your most recent shoot recording a music video. Which song did you choose and what type of concept or mixture of concepts did you capture. Describe what you the final product looks like and how you'd define it in regard to "documentary," "low concept," &/or "high concept." What are you most proud of with this project?

For our music video we chose the song called "Gucci Gang". We had many shots including people dancing and acting while lip singing the lyrics. My final product had multiple people dancing. It can be defined as documentary with a high concept story line. I am most proud of how the song is high quality and multiple people got to be involved in it.
