I have always wanted to study in the medical field after high school, and taking this course breaks up the core and advanced classes I take. I also have always enjoyed the arts, I took dance for 9 years and I have been singing for 8. Learning about film will help me develop an understanding and appreciation of productions and movies and learning to edit videos has always been something I've wanted to do.

- Filmmakers can convey stories with the mise-en-scène by manipulating the shots and scenes that are filmed.
-The one-shot films required a camera standing still, propped on a tripod. We had to figure out convenient ways to fit all the actors in at an angle that the audience could still receive the story. The multi-shot required an extended length of the story due to the different angles the audience would be receiving in the film.
-I am approaching the editing process by picking the best shots to convey the story and making sure the transitions are smooth because of the different angles.
- Our group was successful in extending the story and making the shots more interesting by filming the multi shot. A hurdle we had was making the scenes transition smoothly and not looking choppy.
-Filming is a lot harder than it looks because what you could imagine, may not be what turns out in the film.

My favorite shot that we used for the commercial was the tracking shot because it follows the action/ characters and makes the overall look of the shot look interesting. My least favorite in particular for the commercial is the long shot because it's harder to hear and see what is going on in the commercial when the audience has to look closer into the shot to understand what is going on. All the shots have taught me the complexity of filming at the perfect angle for cinematic purposes that could coincide with the factors of what is being shot.

Logline: A big city girl moves to a small town for her mom's job. She makes a new friend and finally wants to settle. I designed mine because it expressed her individuality through her clothing. I wanted to keep the ad campaign simple like June's (the main character in my story) style. We used my script for the TV Pilot. It was a bit harder to make the script rely on different shots to tell the story. The slow motion shot and point of view shot brought the story to life because it added drama to the story and made the scenes enhanced with more intensity.

One of my barriers for my work is being self-critical and wondering if my work is not 'good enough'. I also struggle with the idea that my work won't be enjoyed by others and end up going down an easier route than sticking closer to the one I really wanted. During the second half, I won't worry about feeling like my work is inadequate and place more faith in my original ideas. I won't be overly self-critical, unless it will genuinely help my work rather than hurt it.

The lighting elements complicated the filming productivity a bit, but overall made the scenes more believable. The studio time made us rush the filming. I approached the montage portions with stock footage, audio input and adjusting the opacity. I chose to cut together footage that would flow smoothly and not look choppy, but also kept the footage short. I hope it gives the audience a better idea of the transitions through the shots.

I would lean towards a musical genre. The reason I would lean towards this genre is because there are so many possibilities to produce with this film genre. All varieties of talents can be utilized. It is very interesting because all the talents are very entertaining to watch when combined with a theatrical sense. I hope other would become very entertained from watching this genre and be inspired to delve further into exploring the musical genre of film.

My most recent shoot involved recording a music video. We chose the song "Meant to be" by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line. We used a low concept with a storyline and characters portraying the song's message. I am most proud of the literal meaning that the video offers, as if the characters are acting out the storyline of the song making the audience relate to the song. It gives the audience a certain and better understanding of the song in general.
