My name is Angie and I am a FINALLY a senior! I joined theatre because I thought it would be a fun experience to have and to look back on when I do leave high school. I've always had an interest in acting because I mean I consider myself a pretty decent actor. Also, one of my uncles was in theatre as well and taking a class my uncle loves will really feel great on learning and understanding my uncle and it will give me a broader view of the theatre arts. Hopefully this class with let me leave high school with my mind open more to new things and to have new friends and a new favorite teacher to remember. Can't wait to learn more through the next couple months.

Overall the performances today were really good, i liked all of them. Our performance i felt was funny and goofy in a good way. I liked performing and entertaining others, it was a fun experience and i hope we have more like that.

I believe my performance was okay. not fantastic but not horrible aswell. At first i wanted to do it, i was excited and joyful but once i got on stage, i froze. i felt so scared, and i could not stop shaking, big moment for me i could say. But overall it was a great experience and i loved every moment of being up there and performing a piece i wrote myself.
I tried not to cry my perfermance because it was based on true events, but now i think i should've, it would've gave my scene a little more pizazz. i cant wait to do this again.

I'm glad you're looking forward to performing again. You have some things to work on to continue to grow: open up your body and face to the audience so we can "see" your emotions. Open up your voice so we can "hear" your emotions. Be in the moment of your character - living it for the first time, so you can "feel" the emotions.

I feel like my set design presentation could have been better. Even though i wasn't very fond of my box, it felt as if everyone else liked it and liked my idea which made me feel good about myself and art skills. I really love this class and the things we do, I will surely work on my body and face expressions as well when performing.

My puppet wasn't so hard on creating. But if i had to say it the hardest part on creating it was the painting. I hate painting. Overall, my puppet was not perfect in anyway but it was the way i liked it, it's spooky and weird. It fits my play very much as well as the other characters in our play do, and i cant wait to perform it.

Our puppet play was really funny i thought. The music was okay, the speakers were kind of low though. My experience with this was that it was difficult and i was really nervous, Brian said my hands were shaking. Other groups were really good, my favorite was Kyle's group, it was funny and goofy.

I believe one person's work could be so highly acclaimed like Shakespeare because his work had great stories and compelling characters and that's what brought people to like it so much. I feel slightly nervous taking on such an important poet's scene for my next project because they're all so dramatic and deep i don't think i'm qualified enough to take it on but i'll for sure try to and will definitely enjoy it.

The two costumes i have are very modern and casual summer type clothing. The characters im designing these for are Thisby and Pyramus. My clothing expresses who the characters are, thisby is very open and beautiful so made her a nice airy outfit, and as for pyramus i made his costume light and and everyday type of look, shirt and jeans. I wanted to make their color of clothing different to signify their own personalities, thisby is girly and pyramus is manly but also loving and soft.

I liked how you have two different costumes BUT Thisbe costume could be more mature then girly like.

Overall i think my performance in the play Midsummer's Night Dream was okay. It was obvious i didn't know my last long line where i killed myself and it was hard to read off my arm. I should've put more time into remembering my lines, but ty juan cj and eric did a good job they tried there best and thats all that matters in the most part.
