I am a social, energetic, athletic teenager who's goal is to become a lawyer. I've always wanted to be a lawyer ever since I was 7 years old, I've always had such passion for politics and laws. I seek from this class more confidence and being able to talk in front a huge amount of people I don't know. I want to be able to talk freely and not feel the sudden urge to stutter or become shy.

Our performance was in my opinion good but i know if we weren't as shy or nervous we could do better and we will. By the end of this class I believe we will have enough confidence to do anything.

I am preparing myself for the performance by using my experiences with tragedy to connect with the monologue. I'm bringing physicality to my character by maybe adding tone and using my hands and traveling around the stage, Also, I would specifically like feedback on me staying in character.

My performance was good, but there is a lot I believe I need to improve on. For instance, making more eye contact, throughout my performance I looked more at my feet and script than my audience. I also need to improve on creating a more dramatic pause when reading our script.

Your correct in your self assessment. I would add that your nerves caused you to wander the space a bit unintentionally. Ensure your physical movements are tied to the motivations in the text. For instance, when the text got stressful, the wandering worked. Your vocal projection was just loud enough for the space. You intonation was wavering, which again, worked well during the stress of the text. How can you work you r voice to sure it's matching the text throughout the piece?

When presenting my Set Design I was nervous, I felt as if mine wasn't good enough. But I now realize that I'm new to drama and setting stages, it takes time to get good at things. When creating my project it was very difficult to bring my drawings to life. I tried and it looked great but an incident occurred and I tried to make the best out of things. This project was fun I don't regret to taking this class.

My puppet character in looks, but also in personality is a friendly, helpful alien. I will be adding this furry fabric to make his body, i will fill the furry fabric with most likely cotton. I will be leaving a little hold in the back of the arms so I could put sticks inside to articulate the movement of my puppet to what he says.

The work I had to do to bring my character to life was challenging but fun. I fist started with the sketch of my puppet them came the face sculpting. One I completed those things I started the body I simply looked at my sketch and the way I described her and I grabbed a plain purple fabric and with furry yarn. I struggled with the body the most because I had to add on loose objects and didn't want it to look weird. But it took time and patient. I really like my puppets body i don't know, its just so fascinating.

When I was watching my peers performance it seemed intimidating and stressful do to the timing and setting, making sure everyone was participating.

I studied Shakespeare prior to this class,I was introduced to him and his work this week with his background but I've known about Shakespeare's plays. I believe one person's work could be so highly acclaimed because he had different perspectives in life than others. I feel taking on one of his famous scenes for my next project would be fun and exciting.

The two costumes you're designing for "A Midsummer Night's Dream", one is for the middle class for the people who will be watching the performance and it'll be in the 1850's. The other costume im debating whether to go 1700's or 1800. I'm making sure the costume will connect with my character's attitude.

Chloe May in your acting in, "Midsummer's Night Dream" scene performance I like how loud you are and i believe you can be better and way more committed. You don't really seem into it. Try envision yourself actually being the character in their shoes.
Alex Frank i like how you are at least participating but be more committed and don't focus on your friends while performing the play. its not their grade it affecting.

Memorizing lines was a tad hard because not only do you have to remember your lines but your peers because you need to know when your character is to speak. It was also hard to know if your projection was loud enough for everyone to hear.

My piece is about my experience with bullying, I will tell it with so much detail and passion, so the audience can get a sense of feel of what I was going through. I think when sharing this it will spread awareness and let people get to know the real me. I hope that the audience just gains a tad bit of wisdom and realize what they say before they say it to someone.
