My name is Jocelyn and I am a freshmen at River City. In the future I hope to be a prosecutor (lawyer). I am taking this class because I believe that it will help with my speaking skills. I believe that this class will help me break out of my shell more and i won't be so scared to present a speech in a classroom or even a courtroom. So hopefully by all the acting I will have to do in this class, it will help me reach my goals.
I am Sarah. In the beginning of this class I was a bit shy, but now seeing other people get out of their comfort zone I can see i am going to have a fun time. When I first saw that I had theater I wasn't that excited because I don't do acting and stuff, but I am getting the hang of this class. I feel that taking this class will help me become more social and more outgoing than I normally am. I am very excited to see where this class takes me in the future.
I am a social, energetic, athletic teenager who's goal is to become a lawyer. I've always wanted to be a lawyer ever since I was 7 years old, I've always had such passion for politics and laws. I seek from this class more confidence and being able to talk in front a huge amount of people I don't know. I want to be able to talk freely and not feel the sudden urge to stutter or become shy.
I am a student who works very hard. I go to school I work right after school then get home late and still manage to keep up with my education. I am the first in the whole family to actually attend a high school, to even step on high school grounds. Me being in high school is very important for the family and I. In the future I see myself proud of myself and my accomplishments. I want to go to college and study criminal justice and become a nurse for labors as my mom was in Mexico. This class lets me put myself in other peoples shoes. I can understand others mindset which would help me a lot when I study criminal justice. I believe this class will help me a lot and to achieve my goals.
