My puppet name is neg and he is very special. One arm is shorter than the other one and he has a whole bunch of hair. He also is very energetic.
i am making a costume for Demetrius and hernia because he and she are my favorite characters because they acted great in the movie in my opinion. she is very dramatic and very action. demetrius is just very funny to me.
Q:Consider the work you put into creating your puppet. How did you go about it? What did you struggle with along the way and how did you problem solve those moments? What parts of your puppet really stand out to you as great? How did those parts come about?
A: in my opinion I put a lot of work in my puppet I used the glue gun a lot to glue all of his parts together. For example his right arm was a huge struggle because it was stationary at first and I made it where he could move it. the color pops out it came about by me cutting it out and using it.
Q:Reflect on your Puppet Play Performance (focus manipulation, voice, story, etc.) Also, describe your impressions of the puppet plays of other groups.
A: My performance was great because I sang loud and had a great remembrance of my script because I sang the song without the lyrics even though sam smith helped me out. the other groups did better than us I am not going to lie because they got up and moved around.
Q:You have likely studied Shakespeare prior to this class, or at the least were introduced to him and his work this week. Reflect on why you believe one person's work could be so highly acclaimed and how you feel taking on one of his famous scenes for your next project.
A: To be honest I have not seen Shakespeare before I saw it in class. only a smart person or a creative person can come up with those scenes.
Reflect on your experience performing the scene from "A Midsummer Night's Dream". What was it like to memorize lines and staging? How did you feel your acting went - in voice and physicalization?
A: To be honest i remembered some of my lines because i had other things to do to prepare for my final. staging was very fun because i wore a costume and had different clothes on and i felt like i was in the movie or actual stage play. my voice was very loud and i pronounced the words good in my opinion. i did everything good in my opinion again because i moved with script and I put more emphasis on it.
Q:Submit a Creative Process Reflection for your Final Scene explaining what your performance piece is about, how you’re putting it together, and what some of your thoughts and influences are as you’re constructing the performance. What are you hoping the audience takes away from your performance? BE DETAILED AND THOROUGH WITH YOUR RESPONSE
A: my performance piece is a spoken words poem that i created about school. i am putting it together with a friend and she going first and i am going to finish it. The thought of taking a hard test influenced me the most because this is real life stuff that i am talking about.i hope the audience takes away that i practice hard and that i did wonderful, and that i am a great speaker.
