My name is Reyna, i am a sophomore at River City High School. I play softball for the high school, but i also play for a travel team. Being on my travel team will help me get a scholarship to the college i want to go to. I am hoping to go to Washington University because they have a great softball team and medical program,i want to be an anesthesiologist.By taking this class i hope it will take me out of my comfort zone because when i make phone calls to colleges,or presentations in front of class i do not want to be shy, or feel embarrassed. I hope this class will help me with that.

After being in this class for more than 2 weeks i feel that i have some what came out of my comfort zone, but before performing in front of people i will still need to get comfortable with some of the people in the class. i feel i have also changed by trying new things that i have not tried or ever thought about. before the class i would be a little shy to play theatre games with people i dont know but being in the class and knowing that everyone else is doing it, its not a big deal to me now. This class has helped me with the relation to school by not being shy to give presentation or talk to new people. i am hoping to that i will eventually come out of all my comfort zone.

My group and I performed and there was 2 dogs,1 wolf,1 superhero, and 1 aileen. The superhero was walking the dogs and the wolf but then the aileen comes out and tries to take the wolf, The superhero started fighting the aileen and the dogs sling shot the wolf at the aileen. The aileen and wolf started fighting and the superhero turned the dogs into humans that helped him fight the aileen. At the end they kill the aileen. At first my group and I didn't know what we were going to do, but as we got ideas we told each other and added them to the scene. We finally knew what we going to do and we rehearsed until we had it down. Then, when it was time to preform we did it just as we were rehearsing.

I think my performance was not the most entertain because I just told the monologue and did not act it out. I think that my monologue story was pretty good though.

Overall you did a nice job. The beginning of the piece, however, was lacking expressed (vocal, facial, physical) emotions that matched the text. You got settled into the middle, but rushed the end, which lacked an emotional punch. What emotions is the character feeling throughout the piece? How can these be shown in your vocal, facial, and physical expressions?

The story behind my model is a young girl living in a big city in her dream house with lots of money. I think my presentation could have been louder.

My puppet character is a queen with a big gold crown. She also wears a pretty dress. Her personality is funny, caring and cool. I am considering that i will need some fabric to make her dress. probably cardboard to make her crown. Her crown will help you understand her character more because not every regular person has a crown.

making my puppet was pretty easy. I think the hardest part about making it was figuring out how to make her dress. I solved the problem by asking my friend to help me because i liked how she made her dress for her puppet. I like how i painted on her face because i like her green eyes.

when we performed i was not so nervous as i was from our first performance because i was like everybody's performing. I think our play was good but would have been better if we werent laughing as much. I think my character had a big role in the play because it had the most lines. i also think everyone else did a great job

I think people are so entertained by Shakespeare's work because he wrote great plays and directed. Also because the language was not how we normally speak today, and his actors are interesting. If i could pick one of his plays it would be Romeo and Juliet because its like the only play i know from him.

For one of my characters i am creating a lion.It is going to be a realistic lion, its going to be joyful also. I am going to dress my lion so that it is warm enough for the winter in 2010,around 1:17pm. But he is also going to be in a palace. The other character i have not decided yet.

We were thinking for our scene to be about a rich ghetto family around christmas time. it is really easy to put it together because were teens and we know slang.i think our scene is going to be really good.
