I am mostly shy when I don't know anybody, but when I am with my friends or other people that I know then I become a completely different person. Right now I am just a person in high school that plays sports and other activities here and outside of school, but in the future I want to become a more social person who's not as shy as I am now. I want to become successful in life and be able to do things on my own. In this class I want to be able to be brave and confident in what I do. I also wanted to take this class because I want to get out of my comfort zone and I want to be more social. I feel like this class will help me with that because I hardly know everything so that will make me have to communicate and be social.

Both the playwright and the Cast actors are equally important because they can't do anything without each other. Without the playwright there would be no script or anything for the actors to perform. Also, without the actors the playwright wouldn't have anybody to perform the script that they write. The playwright and the actors are a team of equal individuals that need each other in order to accomplish the goal of a successful performance.

My first performance was fun. Mostly because I wasn't thinking about things like, what would the audience think, or what would happen if I messed up. I had just done what I was supposed to do and go with what felt more natural to me. Before class I was a bit nervous and didn't want to perform, but at the same time I was wanting to just get it over with. During the performance I felt fine and did OK. After the performance I was fine and happy after I performed and it was really fun.

I began to brainstorm my monologue by thinking about my personal life and how I could make that into a dramatic monologue. Yes, because when I figured out the spine, character, and objective it became easier and gave me a clear idea about how the story continued. There is not a specific type of theater that my monologue falls under

The play "As you like it" was a great play because the costumes were great, The acting was outstanding, and the scenes they had made it easier to follow along with the dialogue. I am currently reading over my monologue to make sure that it sounds good and to get a better grasp on how I will do my performance. I will try to use my feelings to bring out the frustration in the monologue because this is about my life. I might apply the the acting I saw in the theater performance in my monologue.

My first monologue experience was amazing! I felt a little nervous before and during, there were even times when I forgot the lines that I had memorized. But as It went on I felt more comfortable with the performance. Although, I feel that I need to work on performing in front of others. As an audience member my class mates also head really great performances and I enjoyed watching all of them.

First, I Looked at the things I had and came up with whatever I could see based on how the objects were placed and looked. Base don what I had in my collage I came up with a neighborhood area in San Francisco. The basic stage scene I have is a couple houses with other things to make it look like a neighborhood. As of right now I just have the basic set designs with a little bit of detail. I still have a lot of work for my set design.

During these three weeks I had to do a lot of planning and coordination. During these past three weeks I have learned the difference between set designs and how to put one together. Over this time it was a lot of work to build my set design but it was worth it. The struggles of this project were trying to get a good picture of what I wanted to do but I had to make sure I could build it. Another struggle was figuring out how to make my ideas and how I would fit them. The best part of the project was when I was finally done.

When I was working on my puppet I first drew a sketch of the body and clothes to get a basic idea of what I wanted. Then, when I was done making the head I started to draw out the what I wanted the hair and facial details to look like. I mostly struggled with figuring out what materials I should use for the clothes and drawing the face with a thicker brush. I solved them by outlining the clothes and the face in pencil before I painted. The part that stands out the most on my puppet is the colors that I chose and the kind of materials that I used.My puppets personality is kind of plain so I don't really need to find the perfect voice for his character.

My puppet play was fun, I wasn't really nervous or shy because i seemed easy. My part in the play was not very much because i had only 2 lines and I played the music in the back ground. Puppet plays are different because you don't see the audience which made me a bit more comfortable. Overall I am happy with my puppet because it turned out better than I had expected.

It was fun but a little confusing trying to understand what he was writing, but his wording was what made it hard for me to memorize it line by line. for my costume and makeup designs I just chose a setting for the play to take place and came up with ideas as I was drawing them. he remains relevant to audiences today because he made his plays so that they could take place in any time period.

My final project is going to be a set design and costumes inspired by one of my favorite anime show called Soul Eater. I came up with doing a set design for this show because I wanted to do something that I have loved and wanted to be creative with it. First, I'm doing a set design of Death City where the main characters reside and will later fight the evil villain. Second, I'm doing costume designs for three people, The two main characters Maka and Death the kid with the evil villain Asura. I also did the set design with the costumes because I want to practice my drawing skills.

My final performance went great! I got 100% on the set and costume design. the only thing that I would do differently is plan ahead on what I'm going to say. I think the best thing about the term was the final project because I found out that I could draw better then I thought.
