I am a peaceful person and I'm a freshman and in the future I am going to be a singer. In this class I want to get used to performing a lot more than i already am

1. Who is more important... the playwright or the cast and crew? Defend your assertion with your logic and some examples.
A: The cast and crew because they all put in work in effort to make the show happen.

2. Also, how did your first performance in class go? What did it feel like before, during, and after?
A: My first performance was a little awkward but I tried to cover up my awkwardness and after i was very relieved and I felt better cause I got over the awkwardness

Yes, the awkwardness is the name of the game! Those butterflies seem to be ever present, so it's about managing those feeling to be able to get through the performance strong. Seems like you did a good job at working through that. Next time, I'll look forward to you not having your spirit animal's trunk, so I can see the acting on your face as well as through the physical characterization.

1) Share out about your experience this week attending "As You Like It" at Sacramento Theatre Company. Indicate evidence that supports your opinion.
2) Additionally, consider your monologue...
a) What are you doing to prepare yourself for the performance?
b)How are you going to bring physicality to your character?
c)How might you apply what you saw in live theatre this week to inspire your monologue performance?

1) There is really no way to explain or give evidence about my opinion its just nothing I would watch it.
2) A. trying to calm myself down. B. by show facial that go with the mood. C. do your best.

Describe the beginning concept for your set design. What elements of your inspiration collage did you draw upon? What is the basic stage scene you're setting in your design? Is there a strong design concept yet it regard to style, form, texture, color, etc.?
A: I drew what I did because it made me feel like me because I like girly things and I like to sing and I also love my Black people! Basically the setting of my collage is dreamy and girly. they style of it is also dreamy and girly. the collage is very colorful also. thank you for understanding ; )

Reflect on the creative process of working from inspiration through to presenting your set design. What were the ah-ha moments of inspiration and the challenges you had to be creative to overcome? What's your overall impression of the growth of your creative muscle through the process of this project?
A: well the point of my 3-D model is that its a girl dream room almost every girl wants a room like that girly pink and perfectly clean a big pink bed everything pink also it shows confidence because when i look at that room it brings me positive vibes and confidence.

I believe my performance was very interesting and unprofessional. i think my group should have had a script printed and I think people should have took it seriously.

Describe your Shakespearean experience over the last weeks: What was it like performing a work written over 400 years ago? How did you approach your costume and makeup/hair designs for the scene? Why do you believe Shakespeare remains relevant to audiences to this day? well um i really wasn't able to practice my lines so i did pretty bad job on that but the costume wasn't much but i think i made it look good but as a was forgetting my lines i was getting nervous.

This reflection should explain what your Final Scene performance piece is about, how you’re putting it together, and what some of your thoughts and influences are as you’re constructing the performance

My final performance is me acting scenes from one of my favorite movies growing up "Mean Girls" with three other girls there is going to be exciting drama, dancing, and singing with some humor and I really hope it goes well we still have to make a script but I'm pretty sure it will great.

Consider the work you put into creating your puppet. How did you go about it? What did you struggle with along the way and how did you problem solve those moments? What parts of your puppet really stand out to you as great? How did those parts come about? What about your puppet's personality are you hoping to bring about through your voice?

honestly I thought my puppet was gonna turn out better but I think it turned out okay but my performance wasn't well because of the group i was in

Look back on your final performance for the class and reflect on your work. How do you feel it went? What was great, and what would you do differently the next time? What are some of your take aways from the whole term?
A: i felt it went good the thing was my team did not want to practice there lines and i feel i should've been straight up with them.
