I am a very opinionated person and honest person, sometimes too honest. I believe I will always be like this because I don't see myself holding anything back. I feel the Theatre will be an enjoyable and learning experience because theatre and drama is a place/class that will make me show my emotions and I feel that the class would be fun.

This week consisted of the class playing games in the Black Box. Many of the games consisted of making eye contact and adapting to the setting you receive. At first, I did not know why we played the games, but after the explanation and actually participating, I understood that eye contact and the setting is the most important thing in theatre,

This week, the class did a mime exercise and a short play. My goal for the exercise was to keep my cool and not laugh. I did laugh a bit but other than that, I think I did fine. My group was pretty good because they actually played their character well and I think we did a good job.

Regarding your Group Mimed Performance: You went for it, but I would have liked you to have faced out while sleeping, so you could continue to act through each moment... dreaming, waking, etc.

In my monologue, the character I will portray is myself. My character is loud, very opinionated, and says what on his/my mind. When I speak, I use my hands and body when I talk so when I do perform, my body language will tell how I feel. I will prepare by just memorizing it but I am someone who changes things up a bit so I might add something. I will still read my script but if I want to add something I will. My feedback I want is if I was being serious. I sometimes take things not so serious, but I would like my monologue to be serious.

Regarding you Monologue Performance: You were able to hold character, even when bantering with the audience, and despite their reactions you maintained focus.

I was excited to perform my monologue because I just like to go up and present. Before my monologue, I wasn't nervous, but when it started, I kind of got lost. I knew what I was going to say, but then with the light in my face and I couldn't see my friends, I started to become anxious and nervous. I started to stutter and was very confused. But when I heard that people kind of enjoyed the monologue and I heard laughter, that made me feel better. Overall on my monologue, I think I did good, but I wish I could have done better.

Your monologue was really interesting to listen to. I love the fact that you broke down your walls and tapped into the person you are underneath. It was nice getting to hear about the real Faisal Khan. Though it could've done without the cursing, it was still very enjoyable. Seeing you nervous only made it better, it helped you focus on the real you. It was more genuine. Your wishes to have a better monologue could've been met if you didn't choose to improv it all, but nonetheless it was amazing, like you.

Your monologue was so hilarious. I was not expecting that at all. It was the one of the best things I've seen. I like how you gave an amazing speech and how you ended so hilarious with cursing. That was my favorite part.

My collage and the designs will take place in a courtroom. The main thing on my collage is the cast of HTGAWM and they are defense attorneys. Rihanna is also on the collage and she will be the defendant and Kerry Washington will be her social media assistant. On my collage there is a trophy that Viola Davis is holding is going to be the backdrop. The collage and scene will be serious and have some somewhat dark colors and it will be somewhat sophisticated.

My insight on colleges since art university came was eye opening because before college seemed boring, but after they came college looked cool and fun to be apart of. My future goals for college is to just get in a really good college and finish it, and then just to have fun with life. I do not know what I want to major in.

Masks are not really used today. It is mostly makeup and clay. I think they should be brought back due to masks are the first form of art and theatre. They symbolize many emotions and they give the audience a mood to have through the story. They make the audience feel what the performers are feeling.

The puppet show was pretty cool. I think I did OK on the performance, I got mostly distracted on what I said other then what the puppet was doing. The script actually made sense if you actually paid attention to it. It was like a comedy I would say. I think my group did good. If I can change everything, it would definitely be the performance. I think I could have done better if I focused on the puppet more then the script.

Regarding your puppet play performance: You did a great job with focus, only breaking character once (your vocal tone gave you away!). You puppet manipulation was difficult to gauge, but that's mostly due to the set up I provided and how far away you were from the other characters. Additionally you asked about your voice. While I could hear you, I was hoping you would take on more character in your voice. Perhaps that can be your next venture in acting, to grow your vocal range.

I think Shakespeare was so acclaimed because his plays were what people wanted. They wanted love that was as great as Romeo and Juliet. Also his plays at the time may have been something one has not seen before. When I do my scene I am going to put in the emotion of a tragedy. Shakespeare's plays were consisted of tragedies and the scene is tragic, so I will put that in perspective.

A costume I remember from the top of my head is The Red Queen's costume in Alice in Wonderland. The costume was extravagant and really showed that she was the queen. What made it good was that it went well with her character and it went well with her personality.

You've done very well with memorizing your lines. I'm proud of how much work you've put in. I just wish that you would be more willing to run it more than once. Don't forget to practice the reacting!

I think my performance for the play was not good. I memorized my scenes but I just did not know when to speak. I did not know my cues. Also I started to laugh because I felt uncomfortable to the fact that I had to speak and did not know when so I started to joke around. Other than that I think my group did good. I believe majority of us tried and they did good.

My group's performance piece is about a girl who has a different skin color with the majority of the people and she paints to look normal. She goes to school and has to keep it a secret and then she meets a girl with same skin, nut the girl has her skin showing. In my scene I play three character and they are not as nice as others. I will try to distinguish them in the way I act and what my posture is. I hope the audience thinks I did good.

Regarding your final scene "Galinda the Good Witch": You and your team took on a very detailed script and you had the tough job of playing many roles. In regard to your physicality, each of the characters seemed to have the same movements and gestures. At times, these movements came across a bit "teenage" Hone in on at least one physical trait that is identifiable for a character and focus your movements around that to help each be distinctive. Also, with all your hard work learning lines and working through characters, be sure to remain open to the audience so we are sure to hear you and see all your great facial expressions and reactions. Nice work. Congratulations!

My performance was good I think. I made small mistakes but I do not think it was big deal. I am happy to end the year with the two performances, it was a fun time.
