Through my eyes you shall see the within of this class. Doing the activities in the Black Box I've learned a lot about others personality's and how they interact. I've learned how to use other's ideas to help me with mines. Working with large groups of people and communicating to them without any words at all.
what up G
While we were discussing our performance we were nervous but after I was confident on what I did
Regarding your Group Mimed Performance: You appeared to know what to do, but that's different form "being in the moment". How can you know what to do & appear like it's all new for your character?
My character is clumsy and adventurous. They love adrenaline and be with their friends. I will use words that they normally use as well as actions they'd do in reacting to certain situations. I will re-read my monologue in order to remember it better.
From my collage I got nature and dark vibes. My collage doesn't have many colors so my set-design is going to be more bland and neutral with colors. I'm going to have some natural things with curves and shapes in my set-design. The set will have a lot going on like my collage but at the same time not too much. Everything kinda goes together in a way even if it might not seem like it at first.
The presentation intrigued me, not for myself but for my best friend who's interest is in the arts. I really liked all the programs they offer and how the staff there has first hand experience with the work that they teach. I do plan on going to college out of state but not an art school. I make sure to get good grades and keep a clean record so that schools will accept me. I'm also trying to get as much experience as I can now and learn a lot about the field I'm interested in.
I think Shakespeare has amazing work and I'm excited to take on some of it. His work was a reflection of what people is his time wished to have. It made them forget about the real world and their worries.
I remember seeing a clown making balloon animals and handing then out. It was at a pumpkin patch. It had 2 pieces to it, pants and a shirt, there were red ruffles on the edges. It was very colorful, it had many different shapes all over it. She had big blue shoes and a red wig. The costumer scared me a lot since I have a fear of clowns, which is why I remember it.
you were great this week about keeping everyone on track. great job!!!!
Regarding your puppet play performance: Way to make it happen and follow through on what you stared. Your puppet looked great and the script has potential to really grow into a larger story.
I could've done a lot better on my performance. I knew my lines but when it came down to doing the live acting I choked and forgot them all. It was difficult because other members also forgot their parts so I didn't know when it was my turn to speak and what line to say
Our whole performance is to try and make the audience laugh. Alexis and I have one of the main roles in doing that so we have to come up with ways on how we are going to do so. The more I think about the performance the more things I find that we need to fix to make sure that our performance is successful. I hope that we can make the audience laugh and have a good time.
Regarding your final scene "American Idol": You made great character choices in you physicality and voice. Your words, actions and outfit made the package and it was all very funny. Too funny perhaps, as you broke a few times, cracking yourself up! When your doing your best work on stage, that's when it most important to be in you character 100% so you can hold it all together for the audience. Great work to end the term. Congratulations.
This last performance was a lot of fun. I really put in my all for this play because it was the last one. It was so much fun working with Saul and Alexis, I'm going to miss them very much. I was nervous at first but once i got up there it was a lot easier and that fear went away.
