I am a hard worker, especially if I love what i'm doing. In the future I want to go to college and have a good job. In this class I just want to learn to be comfortable in front of other people and gain more confidence in myself. I also just want to have fun and make a lot of friends.

This experience was normal for me because I've been in front of many people before. I really liked other peoples plays and i think that we did okay to. We made up our scene at the very last day, so we only had about a day of practicing. I really hope to do something like this again.

Regarding your Group Mimed Performance: How can a character's motivation help you achieve great physicality? Focusing on the events of the scene from inside your character's mind may help you to react in the moment as your character.

For my monologue my character is Peter Pan. I am gonna physicalize this character by pretending to maybe fly or something, but most of the time i'm gonna be sitting because that's what he does during telling his story. I will prepare by reading through my monologue and making sure it all makes sense. Do we really have to act out what we are going to be reading in our monologue. I dont really feel comfortable doing this.

You're right, that Pan would likely be sitting as he told the story, but what about the exciting parts? If he's telling about the time he fought with Captain Hook, would he stand and mock sword-fight to help the lost boys feel nervous and excited? Think about how you would tell a story and what you might do to ensure the person you're telling it to is super engaged.

I think that the monologue presenting was pretty good for the first time. It was pretty exciting to listen to some of the stories. It was kinda scary being up there by myself but I think that ill get used to it.

Regarding you Monologue Performance: You seemed a bit uncomfortable as you rushed your pacing. You're story was really solid, so we needed time to digest it as you spoke. To do this focus on slowing down and feeling the story out through vocal modulations in your voice.

My collage doesn't really have any kind of story yet. In my journal I drew a bunch of roads, because i just focused on one of the things from my collage. The mood of my collage is just happy. My set design will capture the mood by having good scenes. The shapes are mostly lines with some curves. I don't have any color in my drawing, but in my collage, its very colorful. I am gonna try to add color to my set designs and my drawing in the creative journal.

I really actually loved the presentation and the idea of art. I would actually love to go to that university, but the thing is im just not creative enough for that. For my college life i want to learn more about science and medicine. I really want to become a nurse or doctor.

Even today theaters use masks, just like they did back then. I would consider theater okay and actually interesting, but its not my thing. The masks are so common even today is because they show emotion and they show different character traits through them.

I started out with thinking of doing something horror related. That's why i decided to do a zombie cat. Making the cat out of clay and making the costume wasn't that hard. Writing the script though, was kinda difficult, since we couldn't decide what to write about, and we basically wrote it the last minute. We didn't even get to practice our performance. But compared to some, I think we did pretty good, even without practicing it.

Regarding your puppet play performance: You were a bit hard to hear, but that's most likely due to the the set-up; being blocked by the table. But that's not much difference than speaking in a larger room. Feeling confident enough to really speak up is where you need to aim to be.

William Shakespeare's work was so greatly admired because it changed the way some people see things. The plays in theaters became way more dramatic and interesting and people could see all the great work through how its played and said. I wouldn't mind doing some scenes as a project, i actually think its kind of interesting.

Recall a costume you remember well. When did you see it and what was the show, event, or occasion? Were you wearing it or was someone else? What was the "part" being played? Describe in detail the outfit, so we can imagine it. What do you beleive the costumer did so well so that this costume continues to stand out in your mind?

I remember Shrek's costume from Shrek the musical. This was a movie of a play. Someone else was the one wearing it. The part that was played was Shrek, throughout the whole play. The outfit was a shirt that was brown and raggy looking. The makeup used was green, because Shrek was green. I believe that the customer made the actor seem very realistic when he made the actor like Shrek.

For the performances i think that i started to learn my lines a little later then i should have. I think that it was kind of easy anyways because my lines were short. It was kind of interesting being the character that i was and i really liked it.

For my final scene, me and Elizabeth have chosen the show Svati. We have prepared 2 scenes of characters who like to fight about the most unnecessary things. My characters name is Valya and Elizabeth's character name is Vanya. We thought that it was super funny, but the fact that its gonna be in Russian, its gonna be funny and at the same time a little confusing for the audience to listen to. We thought of bringing a scarf as a costume for me, and for Elizabeth she thought of bringing a hat. We hope that the audience can just laugh the whole time, even though they don't understand whats going on. We hope that they can kind of think about whats going on through our actions and movements and our voice tone.

Regarding your final scene "Svati": I'm really pleased that you chose to do your scene in Russian. And you are right, it makes it even that much harder for you to carry the audience along. For the most part, I believe you did! The banter and relationship between your characters was both caddy and loving, perfect for an elderly married couple. In terms of your movement, there were times when your physicality came off very 'teenager", yet, the facial expressions and connection with your partner were very strong and natural. Very well done. Congratulations!

i think that during my performance i did pretty good, but of course could have done better. It was kind of hard staying in our time because we didnt have much to say . But overall i liked this performance and i had fun.
