Hi i'm Karla. My plan for my future is to study cosmetology. I'm taking this class because it can help me remove my fear and talk more to strangers.

I have learned many types of character and how theater first started. I feel like this class is really helping me talk to more people and be little more social.

Today in the plays many people did a great job. They got really into there character and it made the play look really professional and nice. In my play we all knew what to do only one group member was lost but i think we did good after all the thinking we did. We made the audience laugh & i liked that because that made me notice that they did like our play.

Regarding your Group Mimed Performance: When you really went for it and were 100% in character your movement showed very at ease and natural. How can you be sure to have that again the next time you perform?

My character in my monologue is a girl that finds a cute guy. I will physicalize my character by trying to get in the character and acting surprised. I will prepare myself by going over my monologue. I want my performance to look like I'm in the character.

Regarding you Monologue Performance: You spoke a bit fast for such a great story. You have great physical ease about you on stage. Yet, you show your nerves through your quick pace. Slow down and work on ensuring your pace is natural as if the words are being considered and spoken for the first time.

When i wrote my monologue i couldn't get any ideas. I wanted to do a good job so when i was watching a romantic movie i just thought of why not do a monologue of a love story. When i was writing my monologue i just thought of school and i created a romantic monologue of a girl that feel in love at first sight. When it was the day of presenting the monologue i felt very nervous because at thought that my monologue was not good enough. When i was on stage i could feel my body shaking but i just started reading and i concentrated on my monologue. While i was on stage i could hear the girls talking about my monologue and laughing but seriously i didn't care because even if they laughed at me i know i did a good job. After i finished i felt happy because finally i finished my monologue.

The story i have captured with my collage is a story about some friends. It is coming to life in my set-design by creating a good match with both. My collage had a very relaxing mood. I'm going to capture that mood in my set design by creating a very natural place with flowers. The quality of shape, line , and color that my collage has is with very bright flowers and relaxing places. This qualities will be reflected in my design by creating walls with beautiful flowers and having relaxing places but with a little of fun.

I think that now that we listened to the presenter colleges give you great help. My goal for college is to pass it and do what i love. I want to go to the Paul Mitchell School to study cosmetology & be a great makeup artist. I am trying to keep up so i can pass high school & go on to college.

When I started designing my puppet I thought about sponge bob because the foam has a square shape. I think I did a good job with my puppet. At first I didn't know what to do for my script but then when I talked to my best friend we got the idea of destroying the world . My best friend was my twin in the play. I didn't remember my part for the play but I tried. I think me and my best friend did a good job.

Regarding your puppet play performance: Your performance came across as one-note, which is different from your usual performances. Please focus on dynamic shifts in your vocal tonality to aid in informing the audience of shifts in intention and emotion.

My performance is going to be about some friends being in an difficult situation & they have to find clues to know who killed their best friend.i will put it together by acting with my best friend & completing the scenes with horror. i think its going to go good by knowing what movie i am going to perform. i think some people from the audience will know what the performance is going to be about but hopefully they will take away how good we know whats happening around us.

Regarding your final scene: So your initial plan didn't come to life on stage. I think we can agree that it's likely due to a lack of focused effort and rehearsal. Because of that, the scene that you did put up on stage was in need of a boost in terms of plot and character development to keep it from hovering in a single humdrum sort of state. You did remain engaged with your partner and it did come across natural. I hope that from this class you take away the notion that being overly prepared is far better than waiting to the last minute.
