I am Ramiro, A freshman. I did not really want to take this class at the beginning but now i feel i can take it so i can develop some social skills later on in maybe the workforce, or maybe to find more friends. These skills are very useful and I'm excited to complete this course now.

The best parts of the class have been the warm ups and meeting the new people. They're all pretty cool people and they know how to make me laugh. The worst part was the game where we had to act out objects because trying to be a curling iron is hard.

This performance wasn't so hard. It was a bit nerve racking at first but after it was all said and done, I felt much more confident. I saw other people's fear of performing and it made me feel less scared because there were people who felt the same as I.

Regarding your Group Mimed Performance: You asked me to give you feedback on tone... yet your scene was silent, so I assume you meant emotional tone! As I saw, there were emotional changes in your character's tone through your body and facial movements. How can you translate this into your upcoming vocal work?

I'm going to have to memorize some lines of course. I also have to practice the ability to change my voice to fit my character. i would love feedback on my vocal levels and how well the voice fit my character.

Regarding you Monologue Performance: you had hesitation on stage, yet was this part of the character? You have very natural physicality, but I'm curious if this character wouldn't have a more hardened quality of voice?

My monologue was scary to perform. Getting up in front of a lot of people isn't my type of thing. It's always hard to do because I'm afraid that someone, somewhere is making fun of my performance and under certain circumstances I can't deal with it. But after it was over i was satisfied.

My collage really didn't have much inspiration. I just thought of random things, and from those random things, created stories. They're not nonsense contrary to popular belief, they're things I would want to read myself and that's where my collage derives from.

(POST NOTE) I realize my voice gets really fast and high pitch when i'm in a nervous position. It's so weird and now that I realize it more, I laugh. I tried to make my voice fit my character but I was nervous. D:

After the presentation, I feel that the Academy of Arts is a strong option for me to look forward to in the future. I would go to the Academy for perhaps, photography or video game design. The presentation has triggered some inspiration for me and some hope to follow my dreams with the Photography/Gaming Art classes.

I believe that it is so acclaimed because it revolutionized the theatre industry as we know today. Without it, I don't think it could have been as big as it is today. I am somewhat scared to act out a Shakespeare play because of how uneasy the old English language is to speak.

I've had to wear a fancy suit for my 8th grade promotion ceremony. It was black and quite heavy, I wore a white button-up underneath, and also I had a pair of new Stacy Adam's to complete the fancy look. I also had worn a fedora. It fit the fancy theme of the ceremony very well, as others had done around the same.

I am practicing my performance at lunch as well as after school to prepare, as I have many lines to remember. I think what I want the audience to take away is the replication of the Star Wars movie

This performance was very fun. I enjoyed acting this out and I made some of the best friends ever. They will always be in my heart and although it was difficult our group pulled through, and I loved every moment.
