My relation to this class isn't very strong just because we just recently started and I haven't had an amazing experience yet. At first I seem like a socially awkward person, but once I get used to a person I show my true self. I'm seeking a better way on communicating with others without seeming so awkward and a way to practice on my public speaking.

In this drama class I've been really building on my confidence more and more. I enjoy the activities we've been doing, the only thing I personally don't like the awkward feeling I get from some people but it's fine. I hope we continue to do more activities.

The performance we recently did was very interesting and unique. I enjoyed seeing all the different ideas people had while giving the concept they had in mind. I like the fact that some people went to different paths with their characters. Some were dramatic and others were very funny. I really enjoyed this project.

Regarding your Group Mimed Performance: You did not appear nervous at all. What you need to consider is connecting the great moments together. What drives the character from this moment to the next?

I thought your monologue was funny and full of good ideas. I really enjoyed listening to the flow of the story and I thought you were clear when speaking your story.

For my monologue I will be or attempt to be Ferris Bueller. Ferris is a very chill, carefree, and can be non mature at times. Physically I will try to sit with no care in the world and try to make my voice as monotone as possible, I also need to talk clearly considering he talked/ pronounced his word clearly. I will prepare by taking on his character for a couple of days to kind of get used to the personality I'm putting on.

Regarding you Monologue Performance: Your story had a great emotional arch, that was lost in the vocal expression of the piece. In tone, projection, pacing, you can evoke the emotion of the moment as it rises and falls.

My monologue went alright. There were things I wished I did better on, for example I wish I did better on my timing. I felt as if i was a bit short on my timing. I also stumbled a couple of times which made me be very conscious of everything else I was saying. I wish I did a bit better. Overall I did okay with writing it and rehearsing but when it came to the real deal I got a bit nervous.

The story I got from my collage was a kind of creepy lost in thought story, similar to Alice in Wonderland type of story. This is coming to life by the random objects placed on the set that intertwine with the story. The mood is leaning towards the fairy tale side. My set design will have the elements my collage has. There are more bright colors and abstract shapes.

I would like to extend the act of masks and how masks play a part in acting / theatre. The masks seem so common because of the affect the mask sends off the watching audience. We also get a feel of the characters personality without knowing them that well.

Our performance went well. The fact that I had to work with a puppet was a different experience but it was alright. I really liked the participation my friends put into the play and I especially liked our last scene where we just roasted each other. I hope the audience liked the play we put up.

Regarding your puppet play performance: You projected you voice just enough for the space. I'm curious, though, as to what you could have done to your voice to alter it to be a bit more "angelic"?

I believe one person can be highly acclaimed because his work that he has published is very touching and really does speak to his audience. His work is very iconic, I believe it will be an icon for years to come. Being able to take on his will be very difficult because of the tone needed for his plays and I might have a hard time trying to portray that.

A costume that stands out to me the most are any Cleopatra costume or designs because it's a simple design yet it has very beautiful accessories that go with it. I believe the designer had some realistic value in the costume. They must had done some research into it.

Throughout he play I forgot the lines a couple of times because of being a little bit nervous while up on stage. I could of done better with a little bit of more time.

The group I am in had a decent amount of time to prepare so because of that we came with a play that depicts a couple struggling and needing to go to therapy to settle the drama happening in the couple. We had the help of some people to come up with ideas that lead our play to be better than ever. We hope the audience sees that once you start a relationship not everything will be perfect and you will have little fights every once in a while but don't let that ruin your whole relationship.

Regarding you final scene "Let's Be Honest": The preparation and group "Yes, and..." really paid off. Your scene was the best performance you've done this term. You committed to your characters physicality and emotions throughout and held strong to your objectives. The drama mixed with the comedy allowed for breathers for the audience and also allowed you to shine in different ways. Congratulations!

The college presented to us was very interesting and seemed like an interesting path to take when thinking about college. My personal path for college is on going to a CSU, but I'm also considering the Arts Academy. The Arts Academy is more like a plan b.

Our performance was pretty good. I believe that we should of received an 80 even though we cursed but I think it added affect. Either way it was a really fun to perform
