My monologue is about a these 2 kids who want ice cream and only one of them has money and has $5. One of the kid is forced to buy the other kid ice cream that is most of his money. I have no idea I am going to portray my performance.
I did my monologue wrong, so it was pretty embarrassing , but at least I got to know how it feels to be on stage. I was nervous. It was confusing and didn't really know what to do. I think when I ended performing my monologue was a moment that went well. I wish i did a better monologue. It was scary.
At first, I had no idea what I was going to write about but then I looked at my catalog and just thought of like a giant statue and like other scary props around the stage. I drew this giant Egyptian-like statue and like a castle in the background and some trees. My basic scene is a castle in the background.
One of the ah-ha moments during the creation of my set design were making the giant gray baby. It was pretty funny but overall pretty fun. MY overall impression was the it was a success.
One ah-ha moment during the meeting was when they talked about the hardest moments in a producer's life/job.
The process of making my puppet was stressing because at the end it didn't end up being how I wanted it. Well my character was 9 from the movie 9 and his design was pretty simple it was like a rusty doll thing and with a lot of holes. The performance was pretty fun I have to admit. I thought it going to be a disaster but it ended up fun and funny. the harder challenge was to move and show expression to my puppet. My voice performance went pretty well. The other shows I felt like they were pretty boring, I actually tried to understand everything but they were all just boring. But I ended up liking 1 one of them.
I believe Shakespeare's work really did inspire a lot of theatre directors and playwrights and I understand why a lot of people like his work, and honestly it's interesting to to be playing in one of his famous scenes.
Memorizing lines was very hard and I was only able to remember 2 lines, my script was just tooooooo long. Taking direction was pretty easy because I only had to be shown once. Performing in general was pretty scary and nerve racking.
This reflection should explain what your performance piece is about, how you’re putting it together, and what some of your thoughts and influences are as you’re constructing the performance.
MY performance is about this group of guys who are just chilling and its just going to be a comedy. and nothing inspired us, we just thought about something random.
We were suppose to act serious and stupid as possible. All that we needed was a chair and tables. The semester was pretty fun and exciting. And I gained a little more confidence to be up on stage.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
