theater isn't my main goal in life, but i do like it a lot. I like to put every messy thing in my life away for a little while and just have fun. i didn't even really sign up for this class, but i'm glad that i got this one and not another boring class that we just sit and take notes in.

1. Although the playwright is creating the script, i personally think that the cast and crew are more important because you cant have a show without having a crew to do it or a cast to play it out and help in the back to keep things moving as well.

2. I personally think that the performances went great. At first before we performed i was really excited, while we were performing i wasn't nervous at all i actually felt very calm and collected, and finally after the performance i was happy that i got to do it.

Before i even presented my monologue i was so nervous to talk in front of everyone, i get stage fright very easily. my monologue went horrible, i stuttered over almost every word, i tried hard to remember some of the things that i had written down on my paper but struggled a lot just trying to get my words out. nothing about my monologue was good. maybe being able to deliver it better. and i think i'm better as an audience member and not a performer.

Describe the beginning concept for your set design. What elements of your inspiration collage did you draw upon? What is the basic stage scene you're setting in your design? Is there a strong design concept yet it regard to style, form, texture, color, etc.?

I based my set design on the idea of being home and trying to find something to watch on TV, my collage consisted of movies and TV shows so i decided that's what my model was going to be about. my whole set design is about Netflix and Hulu

I wanted to make something cool and kinda funny so i decided that Perry the Platypus was the best idea. it was my personal mission to make my puppet look the most like the real thing. also that it needed to be kinda funny at the same time. i was absent for all of the real plays but everyone probably did great.

Shakespeare's work is well known because he was one of the great people who put comedy and tragedy into the same play which made a great impact on how he became known.

The experience was great, it could be compared to giving a speech or preparing for a debate by writing lines and saying them in front of people to get a reaction.

Our project is about Disney villains. We made a group chat to help us with setting up things and making plans for the performance and i think that we should start rehearsing the songs and stuff to make sure that were ready for it.

i think that the performance went really well. the acting portion of the performance was really good i think that everyone portrayed their characters really well. we used the space we had and the props we got really well. our process was a little questionable but i studied vigilantly to get all the words right and still ended up messing up out of being nervous.

something that i gained from this class was more acting skills, i really think this class helped me with knowing new things about theater including how to be a better audience member.
