CJ11: "Flash Forward" Concept

Imagine a story of long-term change to be told cinematically in just a few minutes using flash back and montage.

  1. Fashion a short film concept based on the "Marrage like any other" scene from Citizen Kane
  2. Use the "Flash Forward" Concept worksheet to develop a long term change to be shown in three sequences
  3. Brainstorm montage footage to link the scenes
  4. Consider a character who could bookend the change story using "flash back"​
  5. Be prepared to pitch concept to project group, then hand-in for grading

Create three drafts of ad campaign materials to accompany your CJ6 screenplay

Requirements:
  1. Consider the style & mood of your screenplay
  2. Create three total drafts:
    1 large format ad - like a billboard
    1 medium format ad - like a t-shirt
    1 small format ad - like a mobile ad
  3. Be attentive to wise use of the principles & elements of design that remain consistent throughout your ad campaign
  4. Finish your ads with color, refinement & attention to details
  5. Have reviewed in journal, hand-in, or share/email for color printing

CJ7: Costume Design

​Create a costume design for one of the characters you developed in your CJ6 screenplay

Requirements:
  1. Plan & research designs for a character(s)
  2. Use templates, or draft your own modes, to sketch a detailed costume design for one character
    1. Be sure to use color & fine details to bring the work to fuller fruition
    2. Add fabric swatches to complete your design task
  3. Or, create a digital version of your designs, pulling pieces together to complete the visison
