THEATRE 1:

FILM 1:

Late Work Policy 
Be sure to pay close attention to deadlines—there will be no make up assignments or quizzes, or late work accepted without a serious and compelling reason and instructor approval.

Viewing Grades in Aeries 
Points you receive for graded activities will be posted to the Aeries Grade Book. It is the responsibility of the student to check grades for missing assignments.

Upgrading 
Assignment upgrading is generally acceptable upon student revising and refining work. Students must use non-instructional time to request reconsideration of initial points assigned.

Letter Grade Assignment
Final term grades assigned for this course will be based on the percentage of total points earned and are assigned as follows:

Participation Points 
Points will be deducted for not adhering to classroom behavior expectations as follows:

• Unexcused Absence -2 points
• Unexcused Tardy >30min. -2 points
• Unexcused Tardy -1 point
• Disrespectful Behavior -1 point
• Unapproved Use of Computers/Phones/Headphones -1 point
• Food/Drinks in Theatre or Lab -1 point
• Restroom Use During Business or Silent Mode -1 point
• Detention -2 points
• Office Referral -3 points
• Suspension -4 points
• Breach of Posted Expectations, at teacher discretion -1 or more points

Extra points may be earned/regained by:

• Presenting Creative Journal +1 point
• Volunteering for Out-of-Class Activities (related to class) +1 or more points
• Attending Detention as Scheduled +1 point
• Scheduling Tutoring on Projects After School +1 point 
• Earning "Student of the Month" +4 points
• Being Recognized in the "Conscious Box" +2 points
• At teacher discretion +1 or more points
