I really liked working on It's a Wonderful Life. I liked researching about the era and making the set and props as accurate as possible. It wasn't a very crew heavy show but it was still fun to work with everyone and meet new people.

Wonderful Life was a fun project to work on. There was not a ton of work to do for the show and it was nice to get to spend time interacting with other people in thespians without us all running around doing 37 different projects at once. This was not something that I would like for every show but it was enjoyable to have a little break show that was a lot lower stress than some of the other things that we have done.

This was my first time acting for any kind of production, and I had a blast. Even though there were a few things going on in my personal life during production, I was still able to have fun on stage. I'm just glad I didn't need to memorize anything lol

As George Bailey, I was doing stuff all the time, always speaking, which was very fun and engaging. All that talking did put pressure on me, but I used that to refine my performance and unltimately learn more about how to perform. I didn't have to memorize my lines, which was great then, but I do wish I had gotten that practice in learning lines. I ultimately did much better than I expected at the outset, and am taking that practice with me as I move to bigger things.

This was the first RCHS production I had ever been in. It was such a good learning experience and made me excited for future projects with this troupe. I may be new, but I felt welcome instantly. Such a wonderful group of people to work with!

Working on this production was so fun. We put the show together in such a fast timeline, and it was so nice to see the cast and crew grow together and become a family. My favorite part was the audience immersion, and watching each audience member get transported back in time to the WBFR studio. I got to watch each show from the booth, and it made me happy to see the cast get more and more energetic and connected with each showing. I'll remember tech week and each of our shows very fondly :)

This was my first time performing a play with the script on stage and playing an old withered man, so it was very new for me but super fun! I loved everyone in his play! Made many new friends and new memories. Will never forget!

This was our opening production of the year and it really started us off on a high note. "Its a Wonderful Life" is my third ever production with Troupe 8919 and will not be my last. I loved the challenge that came with putting this production together in that it functions differently than a typical play. Overall the cast and crew was amazing and I had a great time working with everyone to put this play together. Comments are closed.
