Juliet's Ghost

Playing as Wendy..
OH BOY WAS THAT A DOOSY!!
Okay, so my experience was quite strange. I switched roles..in the last minute..three times...

However, in a more serious note, it's one of those moments of which I can actually be proud of. I somehow managed to memorize the Wendy script within five days, and more importantly, despite all of that chaos, nobody noticed a thing. Not even our educational judges mentioned anything about my character.
Because of this role, I have faith in myself when it comes to learning the script, and slipping into a character flawlessly.
I just kinda wished I didn't have to steal someone else's character in the process.

During the production of Juliet's Ghost I learned how to effectively work with people on stage when the stage seemed almost crowed with people. Early on, the lines were ones I wouldn't normally do as the character was one I was unfamiliar with. Though once we got the hang of staging the lines came more naturally. Lastly, the finale seemed to go smoothly so I was pretty content with it.

Playing a ghost was fun, doing a quick change was not, but overall I had a great time playing Kate in Juliet's Ghost. Being directed by a fellow student was exciting and I am very proud of what our director accomplished. I had a great time both onstage and offstage with a wonderful cast that helped to build each other up. Although I am sad this was my last performance at River City, I am happy to say it was Juliet's Ghost.

This was my biggest role in theater and it meant a lot to me. I was given my role two weeks before the competition. It was very hard work to learn my lines and placements. I messed up lines constantly but I feel very confident in my performance. I love how everything was staged. I loved the costumes and everyone involved! Scarlett will forever be in my heart

Juliet's Ghost was a really fun one act. I was able to play the main antagonist Tara, and I had so much fun. I'm really proud of my performance and role.

Juliet's Ghost was a very fun show to perform, especially because the characters and their dynamics were very familiar to me. Our director, Imani, was absolutely perfect and wonderful, and did an amazing job directing us.

Juliets Ghost was really stressful at the beginning, but performing at Lenaea was a lot of fun!

Juliets ghost was really fun and a good experience with being directed by Imani. Also CJ should have been really invisible. That guy was invalid

This was a lot of fun. It was a very quirky time LoL. I personally think that that one Steve guy was the best character. He had the most thought out and deep backstory. I love how the fact that had three pet goldfish was worked into the story, but it didn't over power the plot. He also had the best and most funniest lines overall. I did NOT like that Brad guy tho. He was NOT funny >:(

A very fun performance. It was a lot different than a lot of the performances we have done. I liked that we chose our own costumes because it was a more modern play.

I touched on most of this in the last blog post, but I really loved working on this production and the whole cast and experience.

In juliet's ghost was very exciting and very experiments because when I had three characters with one preson (me) I had to play with the three characters to see what personality the three characters had a watch the same characters at the same time.
