It was a great experience going to the Lenaea High School Festival for the first time. It was nice to meet new friends that came from other schools. We actually did good on the play when we performed in front the kids that came from other schools. The room we were in was very different from our black box at school. It was very quiet so we all had to make our voices louder than how loud we projected in our black box. Going to this event has brought me closer to being a performing arts actor. It was nice to meet famous performing arts people. When we performed in front of these other kids we all didn't mess up and repeat a part. It was loud at the festival but I thank those schools that came out and performed a play for us.

I hope the people that watched our play really enjoyed it. I hope next year we could go again and we would see more performing arts people. For the first time of me going I really enjoyed the festival, I thought it was going to be really boring. I really enjoyed my time hanging out with my friends watching all different kinds of plays and having fun getting fresh air. If we go next year I would really love that if Hanks does want everyone else to go. I just want to perform a different play the next time we go because it would be a different experience saying different lines and acting differently.

I was only there for less than a day and missed the big performance, but it was fun nonetheless. It was cool seeing one acts from other schools and understanding how a workshop works. Also I can't deny that lunch was really good. I hope to go back sometime for another amazing experience.

At first it was a little bit frightening, but as soon as we got to Folsom Lake College the view and the campus calmed me down. I only got to watch one 1 act show, and it was amazing. The name of it was Remembering the Gem or something like that but it was really touching and the actors, along with the actresses, where really good. I was nervous performing my duo monologue, but after performing it once I completely forgot that I was being judged. The same thing happened with the 1 act that all of us did. It was fun performing and hanging out with everyone from the class. I would go again if I could, the one thing I would change would be watching more shows. Everyone did an amazing job and I was happy with the responses we got from thew judges.

This was the first time I went to any art related festival and I loved it. plus I liked trying new food, going to one acts, seeing workshops. lastly i felt did well performing at the festival.

The lenaea festival was a great experience even though i didn't perform i still learned a lot i learned a lot of tips from watching the performance a bunch of times and the reaction from the audience shows me what to do and what not to do i need to show volume when performing because that was the only other issue with my class mates that they had i had a great time with the festival

I had so much fun at Lenaea it was a such an exciting thing. i did two plays a 1 act and a duo scene and it was so exciting. i learned new things and im glad i went. i hung out with the best people who are just awesomeeeeeeeee!

I loved the Leneae festival. It was an amazing experience and I wish it could happen all over again. I met a lot of people and I interacted with a lot of my classmates and friends. I bonded with everyone and I had a nice time. I learned a lot tips to use for when I'm on stage and I'm performing. I will never forget this trip.

While Lenaea took place, I felt uncomfortable at first. The reason was that I have a lot of social anxiety. But when I started realizing that almost everyone felt almost the same way, I started getting more comfortable.

the festival was amazing i met people and bonded with my classmates it was fun and a lot of new experience. i feel i became stronger and confident on preforming in front of people thank you drama.

The festival was a great experience especially performing in front of a live audience that was not our friends and family. I enjoyed meeting actors and producers that were involved in the drama industry. I bonded with my classmates. I saw a heartwarming play that had to do with suicide awareness. I gained more confidence on the stage. We definitely got top 5 in the competition.

While the ride to the Lenaea Festival was slow I had fun attending the performances. Although most of them was serious. When my "squad" had free time we explored the campus and found the room where our schools duos and monologues will be. I had a lot of making friends and making relationships.

The Lenaea Festival was an amazing experience! We met new people, saw other talented high schools perform, perform ourselves, and learn from professionals who have been in the industry. The first day was packed with barely any space to move and the main stage was huge! We performed in the black box and all the seats were taken. Performing was so fun because the audience was involved and had as much fun as we did. The best part about performing was making the audience laugh and knowing that everyone had a great time. We also saw many performances, including musical theatre auditions. Those students then received advice from experienced performers which i was able to apply to myself. The next day we saw even more and even got to see Drew Seeley who gave advice and answered questions about musical theatre auditions which was a crazy awesome experience! Overall the festival was a wonderful experience and i am excited to go again next year!

Another openin was the most fun i have ever had onstage ever, the performance was hilarious and everyone did great!!!!! I messed up on one of my lines but people didn't notice so it was okay. Apollo (Rahitesh) did amazing and he made it the funniest play ever made!!!! I Love everyone in drama two ya boy out.

I LOVED THE DRAMATHON!!!!! It was super fun and very unique, not to mention the food was delicious. I had so much fun with the breakfast club! Also shout out to Yanna and Brooklyn for teaching me some Beethoven!!!!! I will always remember the breakfast club moments and the fun we had! Comments are closed.
