When Rue was being made, it felt scary to see it being progressed and then when we performed it, it was the greatest thing we did. And when I did my monologue, I yelled that out and it was greatest thing to EVER do. Lenaea is fun!!

Lenea was so great!! I feel like i’ve learned a lot about myself through this, and it was a really fun experience. The people and the judges and everything was just like on par this year. I really liked seeing everyone happy about their performances It was a good leave off for senior year. :)

Lenaea this year was super fun, performing the one act and watching others performances were very fun. Especially seeing the judges and how they critique performances while not tearing them down was interesting to see and take in.

My time at lenaea was really fun especially for my 1st time I was a little stressed since I was sick the week before and while we were still working on things but it was still fun being a part of rue and I'm so proud of it. I went to 3 workshops, the 1st two were Boring.. But the 3rd one with Aubrey and Alyssa were really fun!!

Lenaea was really fun this year! I only competed as part of the one act, but I had a great time exploring the campus and supporting the other competitive entries from our school. I also enjoyed going to a dance workshop that gave a great lesson on the history of Jazz dance!

Lenaea was an absolute blast. I was able to do so much and support our school and so many others. Doing the duo scene was so informative and it felt like I was really able to improve my performance in a few short minutes. The musical theater number felt like an audition, but then I was able to improve and seek advice for a real audition. They were so knowledgeable and I loved being able to sing my heart out and cheer for my fellow singers. Rue was so stressful but so rewarding. The set was awesome, the lights went well, and the acting was phenomenal. I am so proud of everyone and I am so happy how my performances went.

Costuming for Rue was such a huge lift, but an EXTREMELY loud shoutout to Molly for working while I was out sick three days and our third having to leave early. I am insanely proud of you Molly. Doing my costume presentation was fun, and being invited to the showcase was great

In the beginning I wasn’t sure how well we’d be able to do it. In the end at lenaea we really pulled it together and was able to preform Rue amazingly. This year lenaea was really fun I went to see a lot of different one acts which were all interesting.

This is my first time in advanced theater and I was very nervous to do rue especially since I’ve never moved sets before. However this was such a great and amazing fun experience. I am so so happy to have been part of this and I’m so incredibly proud of my peers

Going into this and comparing this to last year. Last year I was in the one act and that was it. Now this year I did a one act, a musical solo, and a monologue. It kinda become scary to me. I liked doing the one act and the monologue. I become tired and didn’t think I could do my musical theatre. I pushed to do my best ( and I think it was). During the workshop and after getting good critiques, I took literally and metaphorically a big step. I overall had a fun time with the workshop and the competitions.

For the one act I was really scared it wasn’t going to go well at the beginning because I wasn’t doing good with my lines then we did the first performance and I locked in and then lanaea I think was mine and everyone else’s best performance. The lenaea experience in whole was pretty cool I enjoyed listening to what the judges had to say to the music theater performances it was cool seeing there opinions. It was fun all and all!

I went to lanaea last year but I didn’t have much idea as to what to do there, this year I was prepared and did know what to do. I went to a bunch of one acts and other performances from our troupe and others, and had a lot of fun. Another Opening was a really nice thing to prepare for Lanaea, I was barely even nervous for Lanaea because of it. Rue was an incredibly difficult show, however it was a lot of fun, and it really came together, I’m very proud of the troupe and our work.

Both days were pretty chill, I didn't go to a single workshop, and instead just walked around mostly. I also went to 2 one acts that were both pretty decent, and a bunch of stuff from our school. Idk what the prompt was, but I can't think of anything that needs to be improved it was fun.

Rue and Lenaea was so much fun. This class is so large but i feel very close to a lot of the students and we worked well on stage and off. This is my 3rd time taking this class, and this class is my favorite. Although, Rue was hard and a huge lift we still did a very good job. As well as singing at Lenaea and having I would say a come back was pretty awesome. I am very proud of myself and this class!
