"It's a Wonderful Life" was a good experience. I may have not been in the play itself, but being to help around the set and selling tickets. I would say it was something I couldn't missed out on.

This play mostly blew away because I got to see how much work got put into the set first hand. It was mind-blowing to me to see the stage go from a haunted house to a 40's style radio station. Being part of the crew who put it all together was quite the experience, as well as a lot of fun. Even though I didn't act at all in the play, since I wasn't available most days of the performance, it was still a blast to be assistant director and see the whole play come together. Hopefully, I'll be able to participate more in the next one!

I thought the whole thing was pretty cool actually. Part of me expected it to not go nearly as well as it did, but I'm glad it was so successful. I'm glad the classes that came in to see it liked it as well. It was really fun playing "basically God" (according to my sister). Excited for everything else this year. :)

Working on "It's a Wonderful Life" was both tiring and fun. All of the days working to put on a play was fun. Every day we progressed to become better, which in the end paid off. I had so much fun the whole time. During rehearsals, matinees, and the final shows.

"It's a Wonderful Life" was a lot of fun and a good experience all around. I had a great time and it was a real learning experience. I had never seen the movie and loved the story. It was an odd experience in the sense that I did not really like having my script o stage but it was great to learn how to act even when I wasn't completely comfortable. YAY!

Working on "It's A Wonderful Life" was an amazing experience. I had never done a play in a format like itself so it made doing the show extremely interesting and fun. I played many characters in the show such as Janie Bailey, Sam Wainwright, Ernie the taxi driver, Horace the bank teller, and a role in the second commercial. Since I was playing a multitude of characters and there wasn't much movement on stage, it really challenged me to use my voice and to manipulate it so I could differentiate my roles' voices as well as personalities. In addition to being in the show, I was also in charge of a few sound effects. This job was tons of fun and I loved experimenting with the diverse tools we were allowed to use. All in all, this production was definitely one for the books.

It really is a wonderful life. Not only is that the name of this play but it also describes how it was perfecting and performing it. Like every show before it went amazing, we learned from our mistakes and put our own personalities into the characters. Two of my favorite things about this production was the costumes and before performances when everyone was shaking with energy.

At the beginning I thought that this play wouldn't be as successful as our haunted house but rehearsals were fun and we improved a lot and the matinees were a success and we all had a lot of fun and sore feet but it was worth every second of it because we got out of class and got to cut in the lunch line. Overall we did way better than I expected us too. I love this class and everything we do here.

"Its A Wonderful Life" was a really cool experience. we were set back in 1940s and the setting was just right. my favorite part about the play was working with the amazing cast. the costumes were on point and i like that we did this because its not just for kids or adults its for our older generation too.

"It's A Wonderful Life" was our first live radio show. Being this as a first experience, it was some what awkward because we had our script in hands. Me personally, I am not usually used to having my script in hand. Another experience was doing the props on stage. That was another first time experience. My favorite part of the play was the ending of the show. Mainly the singing was fun for me because the audience hasn't seen that side of us yet.

When I found out we were doing It's A Wonderful Life as a show I was excited because, I learned that it was also going to be 1940's themed and a radio show. I was going to play Zuzu, the sick young daughter of George Bailey, sadly tragedy struck when I fell ill and couldn't make it to practice, then I ended up losing my voice (great right?). I ended up not being in it at all, but when I was there it was truly a fun time.

The play was a complete success! We really gave it our all even with the amount of time we had left we all came together and created a great show.

This play was so much fun. I had to voice a man and it was very interesting to learn how low my voice could go. Working with everybody to put the show together was a great learning experience. With every performance, the show was coming to life. I felt honored to be in such an amazing play with such amazing people.

Our 2nd play of the year... It's A Wonderful Life went swell. It made for good times. I'm happy that I was able to portray then main character George , trying on different accents to fit the character was fun. The matinee was exhausting. The stage/set turned out great.

Six days, six days to preform and entertain different crowds. Before day one it felt the up most nerve racking. Once the first performance begun, I felt uncomfortable due to me not knowing how the crowd would react. However I soon realized that it doesn't matter how they would react. What did matter is if I felt good, and I felt real good. When the words spilled out of my mouth, it felt as if honey was dripping from the hive. For which the words being smooth flowing. Sweeter than any other sugar. Along with the room being filled as if it were a jar. This jar was going to be the honey of the gods. The days went on having this honey either gaining its sweet taste or its repulsive bitterness. Some nights I felt more bitter than soy sauce. But the jar took it as if it were salted caramel. On my best nights, it wasn't just sweet honey filling the jar. It was honey from a hidden valley known for its spectacular beauty. A garden that was once innocent and full of wonder.

I thought that the matinees were pretty good and so were the audiences i felt that around the second part of the show they were actually interested in the play.

for rehearsal i initially started out with small roles like Martini and "Man" but during one of the rehearsals i had to fill in for someone and i think it was George but i did a good job playing that role and my teacher gave me the role of Uncle billy.
it was pretty fun playing as uncle billy because i got to play with different voices when i practiced at home.
for the actual performance i say that we did pretty well and mr hanks gave us some notes on what i could or needed to improve on. but all and all this was pretty fun and i'm looking forward to the potluck
