It was cool to see how actual professional theater works in real time and in person. The reactions of the audiences while my classmates and I were preforming was probably the best part about it. The free lunches were nice too.

I missed a lot of the events that happened these past few weeks, but I had plenty of fun with what I got to do and see. Touring the B Street Theater was amazing. It was cool to see what a theater looks like during and after professional productions.

Storybook was amazing, I loved carrying around a bear on stage (despite it being kinda painful). Not to mention, making all the little kids happy was so heartwarming and I just loved hearing them laugh and enjoy every bit of the show. The black box tour was quite interesting and the B Street theatre tour was also very nice, did not like the show but it's whatever. 10/10 Would do again :)

Storybook and chapter book seemed more chill this year than others, and was a lot more laid back to create, while still fun. It was interesting to try and organize an event like that from scratch. Touring the two theaters was also really fun, and it was nice to see the differences between them and the way they were run.

Storybook was a super fun project and seemed to really entertain the kids that we were bringing it to. The kids especially loved Pete the Cat and, aside from a few hiccups at Riverbank, the performances went super well.

I had a lot of the past few weeks. the storybook theatre unit is always fun for my because of the joy it puts on the younger audiences. Though my time on stage for storybook was pretty limited, I was able to perform a monologue for Chapter book theatre. I really enjoyed it, because I was able to showcase the acting skills that the middle schoolers could learn in their high school career.

Storybook was so much fun, I loved seeing the reaction of the children as well as the teachers, when were adapting the stories infront of the young children. I think chapter book was fine, I think it went well and performing it was enjoyable too. Getting to tour both B street theater and the Black Box was very interesting. I liked seeing local theater and seeing options for what my future could be in sac. theater. I liked it all very much!

Storybook Theater: Storybook Theater was a very different experience for me as I've never been part of producing a show that had to travel. It was interesting to work on as every piece had to be fairly easy to transport, so we couldn't have any big set pieces or props. It was fun seeing how excited the kids got for each story and hearing their reactions at different moments in the show.

Story/Chapter-book: Doing this was really cool, it was cool to travel and kind of work under pressure to do the things on time. Improvising different stages, people, and sketch was really cool. Also snatching the Wig Was Really Cool (not sorry) Theatre tours: Getting a tour of the black box theatre was really cool. The catwalk was something I had never seen before, so it was cool to experience that with others. And the tour at the B-street theater was cool, the behind the scenes with the mainstage theatre was cool, and the robin hood set was really cool and imaginative to be on.

Storybook theatre was immensely fun and interesting. it was interesting to see how the kids reacted to different situations and it was fun to become a 6 year old girl obsessed with pink. it really was just me being me. the fact that we were able to put on this performance with a moving theater and how quickly we were able to break it down and build it up.

I was crew for storybook and chapter book theatre so being backstage was definitely a different vibe than being an actor. We had to remain professional and quiet to work with the actors and keep shows running smoothly. The first tour of black box theatre was fun and very informative. we didn't see much space more of just being told facts about the theatre. In the tour today of the B street theatre, we got to go through many different spaces. We were told fact as well as getting to ask specific questions and interact with actors and technicians.

Having the chance to explore both the Blackbox Theatre and the B Street Theatre was an interesting and insightful experience. Each theatre functioned differently; from the seating set up to the size and equipment. While the Blackbox was small, it made up for with a wide range of seating options, the audience was able to sit and cover 3/4 of the area, sit circular around the stage, and even become part of the performance. The B Street Theatre incorporated the audience into the performance as well by having actors/actresses walk up and down the aisles on occasions, but featured a singular larger stage separate from the audience. Both theatres were unique in their own way and I am glad that I had the opportunity to explore them.

I like the process of Storybook and the tours. I feel like it's useful that one of those sometimes followed the other, since with the professional theater tours you can take tips and behind the scenes knowledge and apply it to what you are currently doing. They also generally give you more insight on how the productions in professional settings work, which is interesting to learn about. Storybook is fun because the stories are very silly and we can laugh at them too. I know that whenever the kids have a reaction to the show it makes us smile backstage. It's not very complicated like major productions, so it's fun and easy and I enjoy it

Storybook theater was a good experience to have, especially because it happens only a few times ever, for me. I'm glad I took the opportunity into dressing up, having a few lines and performing for a short amount of time, especially because I'm never part of the cast. I did enjoy "Robin Hood". The actors were really talented and entertaining. It was easy to understand what was happening. The lighting, the soundtracks, the costuming, the timing, they were all good. They also made me laugh a bit, which makes it even better. The tours were also useful information for future thespians and actors, tech, directors, and more...

Storybook Theater was fun to work on especially because we all had a clear vision. Everyone was motivated and the stories were fun and easy to bring to life. We had many props and traveling wasn't light but we mad it work.

going into storybook I didn't know what to expect, I thought it would be like Lenea only to find out that it was very different. I enjoyed building props and working with others to get things done. it was hard work. I was very nervous to perform in front of people and I feel like every school was different. i was sad that I didn't get to perform chapter book as many times as story book performed. I enjoyed getting to do and experince what crew did instead of cast for a change. I loved touring the theatres and getting to see how they operate and even though I have question about the robin hood play I had fun watching it.

In storybook I played a saleslady in Corduroy and a Robin for Frog and Toad it was fun to play both roles but my favorite was the Robin has i had more lines and more emotion to put in. The robin characters are mean so me and the other Robins have to portray that in our voices.

I didn't go, sadly. I just didn't feel like it. But, I hope everyone had a decent time anyway. Stay safe, everybody.

this was my first storybook theatre and it was really fun to do, acting in front of the little kids was a very nice experience because they loved it a lot and the giggles were very encouraging to make bigger expressions and choices. Touring the different theater spaces were SO fun, they're so different from ours so it was interesting.

Storybook theater was super fun, and I really loved hearing the kids' reactions to the stories. Chapter book theater was also super cool, and I'm really hoping that some of the middle schoolers(that are serious about theater) will consider joining Thespians frfr. Touring the W Sac black box was super cool, and I really enjoyed being able to explore the catwalk. Touring the B Street theater was awesome, and the set-up of the other stage with the ocean business was super cool. 10/10 def recommend all events frfr.

It is always fun performing and hearing the elementary kids laugh and enjoy our performance is so great. It's always a little stressful, especially with how little backstage space we have, but it all pays off at the end. Can't wait to do this again next year!

It has pretty much all been really fun, doing and seeing some of these cool things, like plays and theatres, I feel like I've had quite a time, working with people, experiencing a bunch of stuff, quite a bit of it new, and enjoying it thoroughly.

I really loved the story and chapter book this year! I was able to be one of the narrators in storybook, and interacting with the students first hand was just amazing. They were always so energetic and happy. Chapter book was really interesting because I could tell within our duo scene and song the students becoming more and more interested in it and that feeling was great. The black box theater was a really interesting set to tour and learn more about, as well as going onto the catwalk was a new but fun experience. Overall I had a really fun time at each of our activities and I'm grateful for the opportunity I had.
