Looking at my work, it is fun to go and record footage for videos. Looking at my learning, I learned about all the types of shots there are. Looking at my achievements, I do better at recording footage for my videos. Looking ahead, I could try to make another 1 minute video.

The infotainment project took a little work but it wasn't too hard. The project was a little annoying to do but it actually made me use my creativity. I preferred to work on the Documentary because you don't need to do anything special. The documentary took me less time. I had some struggles with my Narrative because I kept coming up with new ideas and didn't know which one to do. One goal I have moving forward is actually deciding on an idea as soon as I can.

I don't think it was the best in the world, but it definitely had some value. I want to do a longer film next time so I can make something with more of a story and make something that makes me want to do more. I think I did great even though the narrative part of the project was rushed. I hope I do even better next time.

I really liked this projected! I even got my own head twistted when trying to figure out some stuff. Looking at my work, I think I did a pretty good job as far as making sure I got my point across. I wish my music was better, but with time it will get better and smoother. I really do enjoy video editing and looking more in depth with film. I definently wanna make it some part of my future job or I can even help my dad with his business of making websites. I wish I found out about this class earlier before it was senior year, but I am glad I get to at least say I did it!

Looking at my work, it is fun filming different type of shots and putting them all together afterwards. I had a hard time coming up with ideas for my narrative video but it came along after all. The worst part for creating my infotainment project was having to make 2 videos in one. Editing took a lot of time and it was kind of stressful.

I have learned a lot of new skills throughout this unit. I really enjoyed making the infotainment video project. In this project I practiced editing, how to use certain camera angles and how to make scenes look more cinematic. I am looking forward to future videos that we make.

I still have no idea what to use as my film. I have some ideas, but i dont know if theyd work. hopefully i can use a game capture. If all else fails, id rather turn in something, than nothing.

Looking at my work it was fun to be able to work with my siblings to create something. Looking at my learning I know that I should start the editing phase in my project a lot earlier. Looking ahead I want to try different editing on a different platform. Looking at my achievements I am proud of the initial idea i had for my project and the creativity I used.

I honestly think my work could've been tweaked and worked around a lot better and just more advanced, I feel like I could've put way more time and effort into it. I think knowing this will help my creative process with video production a lot more.

looking at my work, I really enjoyed playing with patches throughout filming. I learned how hard it is to work with other people (actors). Lauren was very easy to work with but patches was a-lot harder. Im proud of my first video very much because I was able to show a-lot of different clips. I wish I could have made the videos longer so I could have more in detail endings. I wonder if we will continue to do videos like these later in the year. I plan to keep making fun videos that I enjoy creating.

I really liked this video because when I make videos on video games I feel like I can act better and it flowed a lot better because I would actually see this happening if I am playing with my closest friends. It was much better quality footage than my origin story as I could screen record and editing it felt a lot easier because I used to edit video game footage and stuff but not with that many different types of shots so that part was a little hard to squeeze in but I managed.

I had a mostly fun time working on my video, though I know I could have done better. I wish we could have had a longer time limit. I had a lot of video ideas that I couldn't do because I wouldn't be able to fit it in the one-minute time frame. I wish I had given myself more time to work on my video because I feel that my narrative was rushed. Next time, I know to start my video as early as possible, so as to have more time to finish.

Looking at my achievements I am proud to be able to recognize different types of shots in videos. Looking at my work I liked my music and sound effects best in my video. The worst part of my infotainment was the narrative middle/editing because it could have looked more realistic and better. On my next project I would like to try to improve my stock footage and use more.

By making and creating anything there are some problem which occur, when I was creating this video project I also faced some minor problem which eventually thought me many lessons. Overall gathering footage and editing those types of shots were an amazing experience, which I look forward for doing them again.

I want to be able to record different shots better. I still need to practice the angles and everything . I really want to work on being more creative, as I got older I lost some of my creativity. Next projects I'll work on that.

I liked what i did with my production with the fake paper keyboard and how i layer the sounds effects on top of it. When editing I learned how to get more creative with things as time goes on. I don't think I'm going to do this as a career but I would maybe do a lot of side projects with the editing. What i can improve on is actually having the project planned so I don't just put random stuff that looks good in the project.

I felt that my infotainment project went okay. I liked my documentary part more than I liked my narrative part even though I had rushed the whole video. I can realize now that I'm not interested in hands-on filming with speaking and acting, since the origin story was better for me. Looking ahead, I hope I can further improve my video projects.

I had a lot of fun and enjoyed making my video, but I still feel like I could've done better. Editing the audio was difficult this time since I had many different sound effects, music, and voices in the clips I recorded, so some parts may sound a little weird. I also should have thought a bit more on the shot types and movement. I learned that a script can really help your direction on making av video, its very important. I liked how I was able to incorporate humor into the videos with editing, sounds, and acting.

I think that I should put more effort into my pre-production. If I put more effort into my pre-production then my video will come out better. I need to brainstorm more idea's. I think I'll get better with practice.

Looking at my work there are a few things that I wish I fixed. I should have done more with the audio like fading and adjusting it. I did like how many camera angles I used and some of the transitions I did. Overall I think I did pretty well but I still have some room for improvement.

I liked recording the video and exploring the new ways to set up a camera to get an angle. I'm proud that the food I was making on screen was super good even though it took me a long time to make it while recording everything. I was surprised that when I cut down the clips to be one minute long, everything still fit and had meaning. The hardest part for me was just being able to do the really fast tasks with the dough while trying to set up a new camera angle to record that.

I am proud that I was able to make small clips into a full interesting video :) I liked using editing skills to put together the videos we have made. As well as learning different angles that are used in film. I will most definitely enjoy doing this more in screen 1.

I really enjoyed this unit probably more than the first one. I loved making my documentary and narrative it was a lot of fun for my family and I. Also I got to get out of the house and go to Old Sac. One question I have is are we going to make more videos for our next unit and what kind of videos.

In retrospect, my video is pretty good but I think I can do better and try a bit harder. This unit made me realize all the different shots that movies use and what emotions the audience should feel. This unit also made me realize how everything in a movie means something. Next project I will try harder and plan earlier as to not stress myself out more.

I liked that it was a shot video or I would've been very stuck trying to think of more ideas to put in the videos. I was a little short on time with my narrative part of my video. I did like what I did with my Documentary. I'm hoping that the next video project will something nice and simple again like they have been.

I think it was a little challenging to combine both narrative and documentary films together. I enjoyed the documentary part more than the narrative because I felt that I knew what I was doing and had a better understanding of the documentary. I liked using WeVideo once again because I knew my way around it and it makes making videos a bit more easier. Overall this was a fun but challenging project and I definitely learned a little bit more about film while making it.

Looking at my thinking I think I planed my infotainment video better in my head then how it actually turned out. With the one minute time limit on the documentary and narrative I think I did a pretty good job but I would have liked to do better. Looking ahead I plan to be more remorseful with my camera angles and utilize them more. In the future I'd like to work harder and make my video even better.

Looking at my work I liked how my video turned out to be. At my learning I learned different angles and shots that I didn't know of before. At my feelings I was surprised of how my thinking changed and how I had more of an open mind to think about things. My Infotainment project was easy, I had a plan, but unfortunately I did not finish it. The brainstorm was easy but took some time to come up with ideas. My goal for next time is to better manage my time and get it done as soon as possible, and to ask for help when needed.

At first it was a bit stressful because I had no idea where to start. I got the first idea for a murder scene for my narrative when I saw a one minute film about mystery. I wanted my narrative to be darker and more serious but I couldn't. for my documentary I wanted two of my friends to be silently walking to class but one of them left for a day so I lost the whole video idea. I didn't make any back up plans so I just went with it. morale of the story is have a back up plan :/

I personally preferred the documentary because it was easier. With the narrative I had to think about what should happen, what the climax should be and how it would end. I think project turned out okay it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. My goal for next time is to do a better narrative story with a better plot. Also to do more editing.

I preferred working on the narrative a lot more because it allowed me to express my creativity more and it was also just more fun. I struggled with making the documentary high effort since I put so much of that effort into the narrative. I also had plenty of moments where I realized I can do more than what I had on the script. For example, I had trouble finding music that fit the narrative so I just made my own and it sounded a lot better than what would've been pretty boring music. In my next project, I'll make sure to save more time at the end to watch the video a few times and see if there's any mistakes I can fix.

My favorite part of the infotainment was the documentary section, it let me feel like I was teaching someone how to do something they couldn't before. I struggled with getting certain shots and angles to look good, but once I finally learned how to the project sped on by, it definitely taught me the importance of good shots and angles. I would like to make better projects at a quicker pace next time

Creating my video was a good, but it had it's ups and downs. I would think of something to do and record it. Then suddenly I would think of another idea. At first it was hard to edit everything because I wanted it to look good, but after trying and trying it became really fun to me .I didn't know how easy it really was to edit. Adding the music and title was really fun, and seeing the whole video done made me proud even if it was a short video .For my next project I would like to be a bit more patient with myself.

I preferred working on the narrative because it was fun testing out different ways of editing and I liked using my creative side to create a story. One struggle I had was figuring out the initial storyline for my narrative and figuring out what exactly what to film. The time limit was also another struggle because I filmed a lot more for my documentary part of my video but a lot of it didn't make the final cut, which I realized is a big part of editing. Through this whole process, I really figured out that I like this whole film process more than I thought. A goal that I have for later is to become more confident in the body of work I've created and maybe have more courage to show other people. Overall, this was a fun project and it made me realize that this might be something I want to do in my future.

I really liked working on the infotainment project! I felt like the pre-production helped a lot and it was easy. For me the narrative was the best part. I did it with a friend so it was fun to do. I used stock footage for my whole documentary project! It was cool to use a different way to film and get it done. It made me better at using WeVideo. A goal for a future assignment is to just get it done as soon as possible and to not wait till the last minute to film.

I like how my videos turned out to be. It wasn't really has hard as I thought it would be. I learned a lot of different shots and angles to make my videos for unique. I prefer the documentary film instead of the narrative. It was just easier o do the documentary because you can think of more stuff to do. It was fun to do it because I did it about my life and to show what I do during my day. I didn't really have struggles just of like what all do video tape about. What I want too do better is get better at doing angle shots.

I really enjoyed making the infotainment! I preferred the documentary a little more than the narrative just because I'm not the best actor. It was challenging, but I definitely learned some new things while I made my video that could make my next project smoother. I struggled with my time management, but I hope I can improve on that in the future.

Looking back on my work I'm very happy about how it turned out. The easy part was definitely not pre production, pre production was mildly hard because it was all about intertwining things together in a new way. The fun part was production because it was nice getting to tell my friends what to do and getting to operate the camera and use the specific camera angles you wanted. I moderately also enjoyed getting to edit and put the video together to make it really my own. Out of the two types of storytelling I much more enjoyed narrative becaus4e of the freedom I was given with it. the biggest struggle that accrued was when shooting outside trying to use the sun and shadows together with ought making the film to bright and trying to keep the angle steady. The ah-ha moment for me was switching camera position too use pillars as the shadows to block out some of the light. The beigest take away for me from the process would be to be careful about lighting and your background. My goal for moving forward would to have a nicely light and shot film while telling a great story.

Overall I really liked making the infotainment video. Out of the two types of film (documentary and narrative) I liked filming the narrative the most because it was more hands on and was fun to make. We were able to work with the camera and do some acting (we had a lot of bloopers). some struggles that I had while making the video was probably the editing and staying on schedule. Editing was difficult because it was a bit time consuming since I had to cut and trim a lot of the footage and pick out the right ones. Staying on schedule was another struggle because it wasn't very easy making a video a short amount of time with my idea of the video. In the end I was able to wrap it up in time and found ways to enhance the video like sound effects and music. A goal I have is that the next time I am making a video I will have to plan it thoroughly and spend time of editing so I can get great results from the video.

At first it seemed a tad bit difficult but then I started thinking outside the box and thought of ideas I wouldn't normally think about. All of the editing seemed pretty easy though. I prefer to work on the documentary because I find it easier and ideas are easier to spark up. The only thing that did seem difficult was coming up with ideas but after I thought of one other ideas started popping in after that. I really enjoy vide production and I find it really fun to make videos and edit them. A goal of mine is too come up with cooler ideas and make longer videos and make it require lots of editing and I want it to be interesting to the audience.

My experience of creating the informant video was good I got to get out of class and talk with friends. The reason we did a infotainment video was to tell students not to do something you don't want to do it or to not do something that they dont trust.

The experience of making a video was exciting but I will admit a bit stressful. With pre-production we had to make scripts, think about camera placements, and even lighting. During production it was fun to create a video and editing it. I will have to say I liked the Narrative part better. I did struggle with time limits. I learned new ways of making an entertaining video and wish to improve on them more. A goal I have for future projects is to make them with better quality and story telling.

I definitely preferred the narrative film, it was a lot of fun to film and edit. Shooting took a lot longer compared to the documentary but editing was also a lot faster. One thing that I've found is its harder to work a little at a time (especially when you're filming), and a lot easier to spend lots of hours at one time only focusing on the video, which is very difficult because sometimes I don't have hours at a time to focus on it. I think next time my main goal is to get it done before the deadline so I have time to review it. One way I plan on doing that is instead of editing the whole thing at one time right before its due, I work on it over a few days. Overall I enjoyed making it and am pleased with the result.

Out of the two type of story telling I preferred working on the narrative story because I was able to be more creative with it and because it was fictional I didn't have to be as serious with it. I didn't have many struggles while working on this project but something that I struggled with at first was coming up with an idea that would be interesting and fun. Ah-ha moments started happening while I was filming for my narrative story and the story started to click as wasn't all over the place. My big take away with this project was that I shouldn't think to much and that I should just film because the story will start coming together. My goal for the next project is to be more creative and work on my filming.

I'd say I would much prefer doing documentary film instead because I just feel like I get it more. I struggled a lot like actually filming it. I did get distracted a lot while doing the work. I feel like the best part of everything is editing the video because I get to be a little more creative with it. I also struggled Turing the assignments in. My goal moving forward is to turn in the work and the video on time and focus more on it instead of putting in on the side till the end.

My Infotainment project wasn't easy but it wasn't hard. I preferred to work on a documentary because I just like the idea of recording things happening in real life. I had the idea and plan for my video but a friend I needed was absent the day I needed him for the video so I had to improvise. A goal i have to improve my process is to have a backup plan.

I could not think of any idea's for my infotainment and once I did it was very annoying to get it to work. I had to reshoot the info part of the film because I kept messing up. Once I finished it I had to film my narrative twice but it wasn't a big hassle. Next time I make an infotainment I am going to try to figure out something more simple to do.

I enjoyed doing narrative videos more. I enjoyed these more because it gave me a chance to use my imagination. With these videos I got to be more creative. One struggle I had was getting different types of shots. Some of the shots didn't fit with the video idea so I had to change the script. A goal I have to improve the final product of my video is to brainstorm more so I am better prepared.

when i was working on pre-production it was somewhat easy but at the same time it still made me think about what I wanted to do with my two videos and what I wanted my video to be like. when it came to production the documentary was mostly because all I had to do was film my hands making something and just edit the parts in between. making the video. but when I came to the narrative it was hard and I still even though I had an idea still didn't know what I wanted to do.

Overall I really liked making the infotainment video. Out of the two types of film (documentary and narrative) I liked filming the narrative the most because it was more hands on and was fun to make. We were able to work with the camera and do some acting (we had a lot of bloopers). some struggles that I had while making the video was probably the editing and staying on schedule. Editing was difficult because it was a bit time consuming since I had to cut and trim a lot of the footage and pick out the right ones. Staying on schedule was another struggle because it wasn't very easy making a video a short amount of time with my idea of the video. In the end I was able to wrap it up in time and found ways to enhance the video like sound effects and music. A goal I have is that the next time I am making a video I will have to plan it thoroughly and spend time of editing so I can get great results from the video.

It's hard to say which one I would prefer they both have really good pros but if I had to choose I would definitely go with Narrative. Narrative is just much more fun to create, and film and its due to the fact that you can be creative about it. I think I just like creating stories right off the bat. The documentary is easier to film, but not as fun to edit. I guess it just does not suit my style of filming and editing. Also the pre productions on the narrative was much more fun to work on when compared to the documentary. That's why I did my narrative film first because I enjoy the process of thinking, building and editing the film more than the documentary style. One thing I want to improve would most likely be to start a little bit earlier. I always start my filming late and then rush it after words and I'm hoping to improve that later on.

The thing I wish I did for my Infotainment Video, was that I wish I was more prepared for this project. I didn't have enough space to do my work, and it wasn't in the best quality. I also wished that I made enough time to do my work, because I could tell I rushed though the second half (narrative story), and that it wasn't as good as it was when I first planned it out. However, I did like how I was able to think of an idea that fit what I was good at, and how I was able to transform that in a video where people can see that I liked baking and my cats of course.

I think that over all on my Infotainment Project, I did a well job on it. I wanted to go with baking for the first one, because I overall have enjoyed baking in my life, so showing some of what I do was really nice, and I like how I did with my edits and other things. The other one, I wanted to make it kinda scary, but I also wanted to show off some of the skills I have learned while drawing, so I decided to do that, and I feel like I could have done a little better, but im glad that I got the chance to show how ive learned. I liked working on the Documentary more than the Narrative because I had a sort of idea on what to do with it, but the Narrative I wanted to find out what I could do in order to get a good grade, and I struggled trying to find an idea, so I just took the first thing that came to mind and I used that as my idea. The struggle I had with the Documentary was trying to make the video short, it was twice as long as it should have been, and I wish I could have made it smaller, but if I did, I wouldnt have been able to get every detail in it! With the Narrative, I struggled with mostly everything, not having an idea was not good, and I needed something as soon as possible, so once I had my idea, I got to work right away, but I struggled with the drawings and the other things like effects, text, and overall sound effects. I know I could have done better with the Narrative, but im proud of what I got done. What I want to do in order to become more better at editing and doing things is to pay attention, and mess around with the editing process more so then I can finally learn how to do the things that I struggled with, and to pay more attention in class, so then I can finally learn what I could do to improve what ive done!

During this project it was fun learning all the angles and different shots but it was really hard for me to do this because i would always get distracted and I wasn't focused sometimes. But during pre production I liked documentary the most because I learned that with documentary it was easier for me to think about stuff to film than working with narratives.

I didn't make my video yet and i probably can't now because its past the deadline, but all i was gonna do for my project was I was gonna curl my hair with a curling iron. So it probably would've went the same way it always does. I start by brushing my hair, turning on the iron, and the curling it. Pretty boring but I imagine that how it would've went. I preferred working on documentary films because it was fun going outside and filming with my friends. Also what made do documentary films fun was when we finally would get the shot right or come up with an idea of what to do next in the film we would get excited about it and when it came to filming our idea it was cool watching it.

My experience creating my infotainment video project was a fun and interesting process. My pre-production started off kind of rough because it's not very easy to come up with a film idea that I have to record and direct myself. After struggling to think of an idea for a video I asked a friend to film one together, making everything much more easier. Eventually we came to the conclusion that we would make the video about a volley ball that makes the person that is in possession of it do bad things like hit other people. While filming we ran into some issues, when we were recording a scene someone threw our volleyball on the roof of a building. But we over came this obstacle by figuring out what scenes don't need a ball and recording those. My goal moving on into the next part of the class is probably trying to be more open minded and to try and view things from multiple points of views.

At first I was really confused on what to do and how to get started, but when I asked for help it made a lot more sense. I started with an idea for my narrative and then ended up changing it half way through. After I got my pre- production done I got straight to filming. We had lots of different ideas we could film with different shots. We took about three days to film and sometimes we even had to restart or change ideas. We finally finished all the filming and then it was time for me to edit, which was pretty quick since it was only a one minute video. I liked filming the narrative better because I got to do it with my friends and we got to go outside. I think we could improve on timing because we took awhile to film. I also think we could improve on creativity and figuring out what we wanna do. There was a lot of ideas that we had that we changed instead of just sticking to one thing.

When I was in the process of coming up with an idea for my infotainment, I was having a hard time coming up with a good creative way to make a good documentary and narrative story. All of my ideas just didn't fit. So I decided to do something I knew I was comfortable with. When I was making my videos, I had a hard time actually recording because whenever I was free I was either so tired I couldn't do anything other than sleep it off, or it was already dark and It wouldn't be a good idea to record. As the days when on I had asked my coach if I could record practice and that it was very important, but some parents didn't want their child being filmed, and I knew it would be unproductive if I just had the small sum of us practice and not the others. I also wanted to respect their privacy, so I couldn't film. I had asked my sister but she had her college work to do and work. I had thought of just making it out of stock but that didn't feel right either. I was excited to film the narrative portion because I thought it would've been fun to act out. A big takeaway I have is that, not everything is going to go they way I want/need it to so I need to be able to work around that and get through it. A goal I have for the future is to set days to film and be on top of it, so I know if I can record a certain day or not.

Making the Infotainment video project was actually pretty fun. I wasn't doing the best while I was filming, but looking back on it, it makes me happy to see all of the time I spent with the woman I love. Gathering the footage was pretty easy, but I wish I could've interviewed more people the question, "What is love to you?". Expressing a theme with a motif was fun, going through a bunch of memories together was fun. Even playing Fortnite was fun. The editing was easy, I got that done in a day each. It was more of me not having much motivation to work. Looking back on my work, I'm proud and I'm glad that I was able to create this memory with my partner!

It was chaotic because trying to find something to make my video project about was kind of hard especially trying to find an idea that would be fun to film. Doing this video project was also fun because I was filming something from my point of view and from what I knew and learned. The type of storytelling I prefer to work on is documentary storytelling. I prefer documentary storytelling because I feel like coming up with ideas that revolve around reality are much easier than coming up with a fake story that you have to think extremely deep about. While filming for my video project we had to deal with the wind blowing things around, background noises, and other people in our shots. The good parts of filming for my video project was the fact that I had a partner help with the camera and she also allowed me to use her phone as a second camera. Some goals I have moving forward to improve my process or final product next time are to get more creative with my thinking, include more props, and take more shots when filming.

During pre-production I try to figure out what I want to do, witch usually takes a while. But when I figure it out I get strait to work and make the film. I prefer narrative films because you get to make up a fun story. Documentaries are cool too an easy to shoot. Post production is nice because I get to review my work and add epic music. then once it's all done I get to watch my film and usually I'm pretty proud of what I created.

I think that it was a good project for this class just no one I would choose to do again if it was a choice. And overall I would definitely choose to do Narrative again if I need to.

I think narrative was better, as it was more fun and took more creativity to make. There is a lot more editing in these kind of stories because of different camera angles, effects, and transitions. Different Camera angles is probably the hardest thing for me when making a video. A goal moving forward is being a little faster, but still not rushing anything.

Preproduction was a battle on its own. The hardest part I've had with this process was brainstorming and building ideas for the narrative, which I've come to realize is the easiest and hardest part. Narrative portions of our video projects allow for flexibility in what we create, since it allows us to create our own worlds. However, with that flexibility we become over whelmed with ideas and thoughts, and this is where I struggled. But, once you find a small idea, it allows you the freedom of building upon it easily which is what made this part enjoyable for me. When it came to making the video, the hardest challenge was pacing and finding time to actually record the video, which I struggled with in my last one too. When you have large ideas, it's difficult to set up those ideas, and I know for sure next time I will need to work on a stricter schedule for myself.

The process was first of coming up with the idea. I was brainstorming and I was really stuck. I couldn't figure out what I should do and what I should film about. After a while I finally had something and I finished the brainstorm. My plan was to film a documentary of me making pancakes, then a narrative film where the pancake comes to life. I never actually got to filming and I never got to finish it. I could've used my time much better and I have been really busy this past 2 weeks.

I definitely preferred the documentary because it was easier because you didn't really need to be creative, it was just a very simple thing. The narrative required you to be very creative with your work, and make a entire story line, with a plot, and a climax. Next time I will also be more wise of my time, because I procrastinated the assignment for a while.

When we first started with the pre-production, I had this big idea, and I planned it out and everything. I planned exactly what was going to happen, but when I got to production, things took a turn. Nothing was going how I had planned it and it was difficult to work with my original idea. Halfway through trying to work with it, I just decided to ask Mr.Hanks if I could change it to something I could easily do. Filming was easy, and so was coming up with both the narrative and documentary stories. The only hard part was how I should set up the camera, and condensing all the footage to only be two minutes long. Overall though, it was very fun and I look forward to making more of them.

The pre- production was very easy, I had no problem coming up with an idea for my infotainment project. I struggled the most on the narrative because I couldn't find the right stock footage or music that I wanted to use. The documentary took the longest because I had lots of editing I needed to do. I preferred making the documentary more. Overall, I don't think it was my best work, but I am happy with the way it turned out. In the future, I would spend more time looking for stock footage that worked with my narrative.

One struggle was squeezing it in to one minute and finding the right time to put things at. One ah-ha moment was when I was finished and I felt like I was ready to turn it in. A goal I have moving forward is to keep trying my hardest and try to get the best grade I can on everything.

This is because this really brought out the creativity in me but sad thing about that was I had to do it in 1 minute which was the really the only struggle. As for everything else, the cutting, the voice overs were all fun. My goal later on is to learn how to manage time on, more or less, a time limited video.

I really liked doing both actually, I guess the feel of making my idea's come to life was fun. The hardest part though was making sure my phone didn't fall downward during filming because it was sometimes to heavy for the stand. But I found the way to make it look like the the first person pov was walking by moving it up and down as I walked. So that was a ah- AH moment I guess. Another struggle was a script, but at the end I got rid of it. The only " script" I had was for the Doc but I didn't really say anything so yeah. A goal I have is to make a series out of my fictional film.

I did not have any trouble with the documentary part of the infotainment video, but I did have a little trouble with the narrative part of the video because I didn't know what to do at first, but then I got an idea and rolled with it. When I was recording my video I forgot to record it correctly so I had to edit it more to make it look good. I had to edit some parts at home too because I did not have enough time in class to finish it. When I was recording my narrative part I had to switch up the idea a bit because some things did not go as planned, but it ended up being okay. Personally I like narrative more because you can be more creative with narrative but documentary was the easiest for me. The big take away for me was the recording bit, next time I am going to record differently so it looks better. Another take away was to record it all in one time because I forgot to record some parts of my ideas. My goal for my next project is to just record differently so it doesn't require that much editing work.

When writing the pre-production, I only was able to write down the different scenes that I wanted to implement into my narrative and documentary videos. I still struggle with coming up with text/a script before recording the videos so I finished both videos first and went back later to add my script. I really enjoyed doing the documentary video because I liked being able to record realistic scenes and since I did a video about myself having a day off, I felt I could put anything and it didn't have to be in the structure of a narrative story. I also enjoyed working from different angles and making all the different transitions in the clips. My goal is to learn of more transition techniques so I can make my clips flow together even better.

Starting with pre-production, I think it was the easiest part of the whole project since I had a really good idea of what I could do. I preferred working on the documentary film part because it was more straight up and wasn't as difficult as the narrative part. One of my biggest struggles was not being able to upload my clips very quickly which took lots of time from me. Next time, I would like to get better prepared so I could make the end result even better than last time.

The pre-production was a little difficult I would say since I was trying to come up with a topic that would go with both my narrative and documentary but I feel like once I knew what I what I was gonna do, the filming would be fun. I think both narrative and documentary are cool to since they're both to different types of storytelling but for me I would prefer to work on narrative since its more of real events. I think some struggles for me is always the editing because it has to match up and be smooth. My goal is to get better at making films because I know we just started but if there's room for improvement then I would like to learn it.

I knew starting off I had again struggled with an idea, after about two days I decided how to use a door, I used it in kind of a humorous way, still an infotainment just add some funnies into it. then add narration I was done. with my narrative I came up with a horror-like thing, where all the character's doors are being knocked on. I was really hoping to get in some shots where the camera moved or changed focus, so I had asked a friend to help, then they had to delay, so I pushed it back, only for them to get sick and not make it. that day I also forgot to get a tripod so more shots I couldn't do. and on the last minute I got it done. I somewhat enjoyed this, mostly just the documentary portion though. The narrative in my opinion felt off. You definitely need to brainstorm and test your ideas before you publish them. I definitely want my next video to be a lot betters

Creating my infotainment video was a little difficult because i was using a Chromebook when i made it so it was hard positioning the camera to the right view and angle. I personally like working on the documentary because it was easier. I had originally thought that the infotainment video was going to be hard but i was wrong it was actually quite easy.

I preferred working on the documentary because it was a lot easier for me to do. The biggest struggle for me was thinking of what to do for the narrative story and actually making it was even harder. My goal for the next project is to do the recording sooner so I don't have to stress on it as much. My biggest take away from the project was understanding the big difference between narrative and documentary films.

In my time working on my infotainment, I especially liked thinking of different ways to convey information and how to paint a picture using small clips, I preferred working on the documentary because I could show people how things worked or how to do something. I am not done yet, but I just need to get 1 or 2 more parts for the thing I am building then I can finish it, so next time I am going to plan out a material list and a plan for how I am going to do everything so something like this doesn't happen again

When I was doing the infotainment video I honestly disliked every moment of it, its not that is was hard I just didn't like it whatsoever. My favorite kind of video to do are documentary's because I find it much easier to do certain things with a documentary that you can't do with a narrative story. Something that I struggled with was getting the footage, other than that the editing and making the video look good and well put together is the easy part. A goal is to be more excited about this class and enjoy making videos. Something I need to improve on is getting more and better footage.

My Brainstorming was easy to do. Out of Narrative and Documentary. I enjoyed writing the Narrative more because it was more creative. The narrative i struggled more with just because it had to be creative and it wasn't like the documentary.

I much prefer working on a narrative because you can make up a story and have fun with it, the documentary was a bit harder because i had to do it in one take because i was making a panini. Next time i want to improve my camera quality by using and actual camera instead of my iphone. Besides all that it was extremely fun and would 100% do it again

There are definitely a lot of struggles but once you get into the groove of it in a sense, it will become a lot easier over time once getting pre-production, production, and then post. There were and are a lot moments when you have blank ideas and have no idea on what to do but when you get that first thought that makes sense, you have to jump on it.

Making the video was pretty easy. The preproduction was a easy process. The only thing that was complicated was i had so many clips that it took a while to edit. I also didn't realize that a lot of my clips for both the narrative and documentary where the same. The music was also pretty easy to choose.

It was very fun but challenging as well, thinking of a theme for the entire production was where I was confused but after brainstorming it was very clear of what I m going to do. It was more interesting working on narrative because I was able to put my own story together and the outcome was like I wanted. My goal would be to make it more professional next time, to add more to the costumes, lighting and all the other necessary elements needed for filmmaking.

I liked making more narrative storytelling because you were able to be creative with it and make anything up that comes up to mind. The struggle that I had for the narrative was giving instructions on what to do on my storytelling because of how young they are. The best part about narrative was probably making memories with family members and siblings because we got to work something together. Ill say my goal to move foward to improve my process is doing everything when its assigned so I don't have to rush my recording and not do a excellent job than an ok job.

I think my infotainment project came out pretty good. I preferred working on the narrative than the documentary. The narrative had more room for creativity. Something I struggled on was the Preproduction. It was kind of hard to get an idea of what to do. I also struggled with procrastination. I took away from this project that filming videos is actually pretty fun. For our next project, I should try to start doing it when it is first assigned.

I enjoyed the process of making the infotainment project, as it opened up more possibilities to ideas and brainstorming the construction of the video. It was a little difficult at first, trying to film and gather footage, but overall, it became easier once I was able to sort everything out. I feel pre-production was a little more difficult than my main production due to needing the right space to film my narrative. Main production was easier as I already filmed my theme ahead of time. The editing process and music searching was relatively easy due to no longer needing to film and instead, just compiling all of my footage together and making it look good.

I enjoyed the filming and found it easy to understand. I also really enjoyed learning the different types of shots. learning the different types of shots has made me look at movies different and not just see the clips but analyze them. learning shots tied into my infotainment project because it helped me pick my angles that fit with what I was filming. lastly I really enjoyed working on the infotainment project and wouldn't mid doing it again.

I had an easy time coming up with a genre for the video. the time constraints were the only problem. due to these time constraints I had to change the genre of the entire the documentary and narrative. the video became easy to make and only took 10 minutes make.

I honestly preferred working on the documentary, It was much easier to record and put together, while the narrative film was much more time consuming and grueling. One thing I struggled with was them drawings in the narrative film, I didn't know what to do and what to go for, so when thinking of what I should do, I remembered that the teacher said that you could use images. The big take away from the project is that, don't think you can animate something in under a week if you're a busy person. I believe my goal is to actually have time to animate the whole thing next time, some images looked a bit choppy put together so I'd need to plan out things too.

Pre-production was fairly fun, I had an easy time figuring out what I wanted to make and creating the script (Although I did have to edit it a bit) Producing the video was very fun to because I did all of it by myself. The editing wasn't my best but I found my ability sufficient. I preferred to work on the narrative because I played two characters. It was fun to change outfits and run around each scene. I also had fun trying to get each angle, which was challenging. I struggled with getting the shots during the documentary because I had changed the script last minute. The biggest takeaway I had was to be able to change things when the original plan doesn't work. My goal for the next project is to edit better and have a more descriptive script.

Pre-production wasn't as hard as last time compared to the Origin Story. I immediately had an idea once the assignment started. All I had to do was to convey what was in my head into text. During the production process, recording the documentary wasn't hard at all. It did take some time because my recording setup wasn't the best, but it turned out pretty good in the end. The narrative, on the other hand was more challenging. For context, in my narrative story I had to throw a paper boomerang around. Taking those paper boomerang was NOT easy. I kept failing at throwing the boomerang and it ended up taking too much time until I got something I could use. I think making the narrative was more fun, but also extremely frustrating at times, as more errors can be made during recording. The editing was also a little challenging, cutting each story into 1 minute was a steep requirement considering how many shots I had. There ended up being many cuts and speeding up shots. I think I could've done a bit better in time management, since I did record late, but this time around, I was satisfied with the final product.

The pre-production of my Infotainment video was a bit difficult because I wasn't sure what topic I should use and I wasn't sure if I had what I needed at my house. I think during production was much more easier than pre-production because it gave me more flexibility to change certain things. I definitely prefer to work on documentary story telling because it's hard to think of an interesting narrative story than a documentative story. During production, I learned that I should make sure that I have the things I need before moving onto production. My goal for my next project is to get better at editing and learn different types of editing tricks.

It was very fun to film because I had a sort of personality for each character and making those personalities was fun and enjoyable. Reflecting on my filming, when I was filming I didn't put into mind where the texts will be on a black and white background so when I got to editing it was hard trying to find a spot for the text and being able to see the colors.

During pre production i had a hard time thinking of something that I know very well, and can make a how to video on it, and also a dramatic narrative. but once i found it which was bench pressing, the ideas just started coming to me. I enjoyed working on the documentary video aka "how to" video more than the narrative video because it was much easier since i didn't have to get creative which i sometimes have a hard time doing. Going forward with film my goal is to focus more on pre production and do less procrastinating.

My preference for the infotainment was the narrative part. Why I like the narrative part is because it was much easier to think about what I wanted to start the story with. The struggles I had was getting all the things I needed for the story and taking the time for all the shots to be good. The two goals I have for the next term is that I want to improve myself into turning the assignments on time. Another thing I want to improve is taking my time with the assignments and not rush through them and complete them as best as I can.

I think this time it was easier for me to get straight into it, I already had an idea of what I needed to do. I pushed back actually editing it though because the recording on my phone wouldn't send to my email. But once I actually remembered to do it at home it didn't take me a while to put everything together, and I overall enjoyed it.

Making the infotainment was pretty fun. unfortunately I never finished the project. The reason for my failure was a lack of motivation to edit and also crippling sickness stopping me from doing the voice over. I preferred doing the narrative because I recorded all of the footage with bro, but just never edited it. In the future I guess I could just try to work harder💯💯💯

At the start of my infotainment project I was really lost had had struggled on a idea I wanted, luckily for me I was able to find one. Doing the project wasn't hard at all as my idea was simply teaching others how to ride a bike without hands. One of the difficulty's I ran into however was the editing. I'm not very good at all at going voice overs so for most of my takes felt dead. Editing the video wasn't hard at all though as it was just some simple cuts with background music. Overall I did enjoy doing the project and wish to continue this class.

Also it was fun making my video but my editing took a lot of time but overall time spent on the project is about a hour. Another thing is the angles I got and shots were great but hard to get on the Chromebook.

I think the infotainment projectwas pretty cool, i liked the idea of having these two different ideas connected by one thing. I had a hard time coming up with ideas for my narrative story, but i kinda already knew what i wanted for the documentary part pretty early on. filming was a little tough for me, i recorded everything by myself which kinda made me feel a little awkward. editing the documentary portion was tough for me, i kept recording over the time limit, but eventually i figured it out. As of writing this, i have not finished editing my narrative part, though i have the footage i need. im not sure which part was my favorite. I think narrative story telling is fun because it allows you to be more creative, but documentary is simple and relatively straightforward. i think for this project, i prefered documentary.I think for future projects, i definetly need to set aside time to film, because i think that is a main reason it took me so long

My experience creating the infotainment project was easy from what I completed so far. I have the whole video done so far except for one part where i need a Rubik's Cube that I landed to a friend but it seems I will not be getting it back in time so I will likely have to use stock footage to complete it. In the future I will probably film all of the content I need in one sitting to avoid complications like this. Pre production was the easiest part for me because I knew instantly what I wanted to produce. I preferred the documentary to the narrative because it was more straightforward and took less time. The post production was simple as well because I knew exactly what to do.

I liked this project more than the others! Pre production came pretty quickly to me, but after attempting to record it I had changed my plan. I'm glad I changed my plan because I'm happier with the end product. I liked working on the documentary more than the narrative because it was less stressful for me since I didn't have to be as creative. This time I learned to control the audio better. Going forward I would like to experience more with using my own film rather than stock images.

This was my first time making any type of film, and it was very challenging at first but I just had to get out of my own head and eventually I was able to do it, and it wasn't as hard as I originally thought it was. I personally preferred to film, write, and act in the narrative film for my infotainment projects, I liked it because I felt it gave me more creative freedom to do what I wanted and it was easier to get my ideas across. A few of the challenges I faced were not knowing what to do and how to even start, and I also didn't know how to write a script, but talking to my friends and family and taking their advice helped a lot. A goal I have for my new project is to be able to improve on my scripts, and actually start to use dialogue in future projects.

I haven't finished my video yet because of issues with trying to record in game footage from cinematic angles which is hard to do on console. I did get through the pre production which was pretty fun because I got to talk about a game that I am pretty into as well as the different builds and play styles you could do. I also got to go into the story a little bit and turned a quest line into a short film. overall it was a fun experience.

During pre-production I think I had a hard time with what to do for it. There were many thing I wanted to do but couldn't because we could only pick one. Picking what I wanted to do with documentary was easy since I didn't have to think of a fiction story, it had to be all real life. Narrative was the hardest for me since, I'm not the best at coming up with stuff in a snap. I did come up with a narrative though after I filmed my documentary. I still haven't finished my infotainment project yet, I'm in the editing process still. I only just recorded my narrative last night, the reason why I took so long is because of schoolwork.

during the making of my pre production I had a lot of things in mind and I asked some of my friends and we all agreed with the idea I had about my car drifting. working on a documentary story telling is more easy and fun in my opinion so I prefer that. during making of my video I had to drive 25-30 mins and drift because in west Sacramento there are not a lot of places to do that. in the future I have couple things in mind to do so my final product looks better like taking better angels and shots because now we learned about all of them.

My infotainment project before was a easy starting project it was easy to plan because I knew what I wanted to do and what order I wanted it to go through. During it I was very stressed because not only did I have to film it I was also cooking dinner for my family and I filmed it on my phone and my phone was only on 3% so it kept on dying and it was just hard. Editing was hard trying to get the clips to my computer from my phone and it still looking right. Out of narrative and documentary I much rather do documentary because its just showing and doing everything I need to were narrative you have to plan out a story and make sure the story connects to it. Some of the struggles is having another person because they weren't understanding the vision I had. I also struggles with cameras placement and making sure it was centered. Edit it all at once and on my phone. I would definitely get a better trypod and plan it out more.

Working on my infotainment project was pretty fun. For my first idea I wanted to make both my narrative and documentary videos outside. But throughout the week I realized I get home from school only when its darker outside, so I had a change of plans. Instead of filming a tutorial on how to serve a volleyball I made a tutorial on how to make soft ice. This wasn't a hard task but it was a long task. It was pretty simple for me to edit because I used this app called CapCut on my phone that I used in the past when I was into editing videos. I turned in my infotainment project about 6 days late because I was a bit lazy to record and edit after a long day at school and practice. But I got it done and the documentary film was defiantly more easy to film because it was just a tutorial and was easy to come up with. Unlike the narrative took me some time to come up with. Overall this was a fun project and i wouldn't mind doing it again.

Pre-Production was not that hard but thinking about the amount of information I have to put within a minute was the hardest part for the documentary. For the Narrative is kind of a problem of the shots and getting help from friends and family for my props. I liked working on the documentary because it was all in one place not in different locations but I would like to get better angles so the sun is not disturbing the shot. I had to rethink the Documentary a lot and had to cut out a small peace of Information. my new goal for upcoming projects are to think about the camera placement more and the setting for the video.

My Infotainment project was pretty good but their are a few things that I wish I did better like making sure my frames all matched where they were all horizontal and not one was vertical. Creating this project was cool because I got to show my creative side and show something I like to make. The editing part was pretty easy I just had to add transitions and chop un needed parts and speed up the video to make it shorter. I liked the Documentary because I got to show people to cook my favorite ramen meal. But there were some struggles like getting the different angles such as finding a way to do the high angle. but a goal I have in the future is too try harder on keeping my camera angles consistent so my video is just a wide shot or a vertical shot.

I knew I wanted to do something around feeling the need to cover up your insecurities. I've always loved playing around with makeup because I feel like its an outlet to be creative, but I also wanted to add a deeper meaning of belonging into my film. Because its close to Halloween I wanted to make it slightly creepy so I decided to make my film about a member of a cult disguising themselves with makeup in order to "Fit in". My girlfriend helped me in the first part of my film, letting me do her makeup and filming the process and then for the second part it was up to me. The filming part was relatively simple, but when I had to transport all my footage into my drive, I struggled a bit. Once I had it all organized I just needed to add special effects which was rather simple for me because I feel as if I have a creative mind and know what I need to do in order to create an impact.

Looking back at the work it was fun doing. Planning the different shots that I wanted was easy. Finding time to go and shoot was the worst part, you would have plans change last minute. Forgetting to get some shots while recording but when I was done and came home I would remember to get some shots. Need to do a check list of shots before leaving the area of filming. The documentary part was really easy to do and fun, it was the easiest one to do.

The whole project for the infotainment was pretty fun. I do think that my ideas were planned well and I liked both of the ideas I had come up with. The documentary video was a small idea that worked well when I recorded it, and the narrative video was easy to make and very cool in the end. Next time I do a big project I think I want to put better effort in to the recording and the editing as both are ok but they could be better.

I was thinking about how to make my infotainment better, when I decided that using slow-Mo was a good choice. However, I didn't realize that slow motion would make the clips so long. With a time limit of 1 minute, it was hard to fit all the clips in so that they flowed seamlessly. I had to take out some unnecessary parts so that the video could be less than or equal to 1 minute. Though, at the cost of that, it made the video harder to understand. I also realized that making small cuts and edits are hard to do in wevideo without spending lots of time perfecting it. In my second video, the narrative, it was very disorganized because I just threw all the clips in and didn't make a storyboard, so present me didn't know what past me was thinking for the video. I had to dig through all the clips and try to remember what I thought of the other day. So all in all, I would try to recommend to prepare a story board of how your video will be directed and try to be organized, and try to estimate how long each clip is and try to make it the same amount of time you had guessed it to be.

The infotainment video so far is alright, I'm extremely behind on the deadline being over a week past the due date. But so far the video has been great, I just keep pushing back the final bits of editing I need for this video. For the next video project I need to work on not procrastinating as much, as I have had the first have of the video done since the beginning but I just have yet to finish it even though I'm so close. My next video project will definitely be better edited and submitted on the due date, instead of past it by over a week.

My infotainment project was hard for me in pre production. I did not know what i wanted to do so brainstorming was pretty stressful. Once i got my idea it was smooth sailing and i loved the assignment. I prefer to film documentary films, I like them better because they are more straight forward and I can brainstorm what i want to document easier. For document films i tend to think about big parts of my day to day and life. I tend to base my narrative films off things that have happened to me and then i add on. I would like to be more creative in the future and get more comfortable with expanding my films.

I liked making the infotainment project because I got to be creative. i enjoyed making the narrative video more out of the two because it was more enjoyable and it was really fun to film. I loved adding different shots in the video. One of the biggest things I took away from this project is that you need more than one person involved. In the future, I want to add more visual and sound effects.

My infotainment went pretty well. It took me forever to get through my pre-production! Between planning shots and finding stalk music, I barley finished it before I started filming. Filming itself went pretty smoothly, I filmed my documentary and narrative on two different day, which I think worked out pretty well. In post there was a lot of tricky, time consuming editing, but I was happy with the final result. Of the two I enjoyed making the narrative more. It was fun to come up with a story that could move all over and that I had the freedom to do whatever with. Making the documentary just felt really stuck to me. I really struggled with getting good lighting for my documentary, as well as camera angles. I remember my mom came upstairs and she was like" do you want to use my ring light?" and it literally fixed all of my problems. Next time I will have an even more precise plan, that is reasonable in my timeframe.

Creating my infotainment project was more complicated than I thought. The plot and post production was easy to make but when it came to filming the shots some things didn't click or look how I wanted it to. I preferred working on documentary because its realistic and doesn't have the spin narrative has making it easier to film. One struggle was showing time passing and a goal I have moving forward is making my plot more descriptive.

The easier part of the infotainment was the documentary because its a lo easier to document how you do something than coming up with a story about the thing that you do. The pre production was a lot easier than the origin story I got ideas quick but I did change the narrative part a bit to make it easier on myself. A struggle I had was explaining what and how I wanted something to get filmed it.

Creating my infotainment video was somewhat difficult but was fun. I liked creating the documentary part of the project better because it was easier for me to build a script and stick to it throughout the process. For both portions I found it difficult to create five different angles and shots. I think I had more trouble creating different shots for the documentary because my project was about just making eggs so it was hard for me to think of different shots other than just closeups. I found it way harder to pick shots for the narrative part of the project because finding the right angles and places to put the camera was difficult and I had to change the script a couple of times because shots didn't look and turn out how I wanted them too. I think I definitely need to improve on my creativity because the narrative part requires more creativity in creating a story and that's where I struggled. I also struggled with editing and putting in text and music. Overall, I think my project was alright but in the future my goal is to be better at editing and be more creative.

During the making of my infotainment video I over come multiply challenges. The hardest challenge I faced was thinking of an theme or a plat for my infotainment video and that's one of the things a struggle in this class. It took a couple of day to think of something but I finally got it. I didn't really thing if it would be good for an video but I went with is anyway. I really enjoy the type of scenes I created in the video and I couldn't have made the video without my brother who also helped me get an idea. The Documentary part of the video I never disliked because I couldn't think of something that would work good with my narrative part of the video and that made me enjoy narrative much more over documentary type videos.

The whole experience working on the infotainment was actually really easy. Starting with the pre-production, I just thought "I'll make a video on making ramen" I mean I do love ramen and i had some extra lying around, and since Mr. Hanks did a video on making food, I thought I could too. In all honesty I did not need a script of any kind, I just kind of eyeballed everything. Like when i was recording the process of making the ramen itself. I had ideas of shots, but not in any order specifically. Like up-close shots of the stove turning on and top down views of the ingredients. As for the skit I did, I obviously had a preconception of what it was going to look like in my mind, but definitely no script. Since there was no voiceover, I did not think I needed on. My friend and I just sort of rolled with what we had, and played off each other, Improv. I gave her an idea of what to do, but the rest of it was just improvisation. After I had the footage, I put it all into Capcut, my preferred form of editing. I put all the clips onto the timeline and edited down all the extra footage I thought wasn't needed. I made sure that it was very close to the 1 minute limit since that's kind of the whole point of the assignment. The skit was essentially 1 min long, so there was no tinkering needed with that. After editing everything down I ended up about 10-15 seconds short. With the help of of an intro and outro I got pretty close to the 2 min requirement. Once I had it basically done, I was told by a friend that my video needed 5 different types of shots in both sections and this was like 2 days before the due date. I started to panic a little since my friend couldn't re-record the footage with me and for a while I believed I needed to re-do the entire segment, but after asking Mr. Hanks, all was fine. I think that for next time I need to make sure everything is good from the beginning and not stress so much about things like this. As for which part I preferred working on, it would probably be the documentary portion of my video, Considering it was the only part I actually edited. It took me like all of 1 hour or less to figure out everything for my video, editing wise. That's including breaks, so this assignment was not particularly hard.

This was a big hurdle for me. My creativity wasn't cooperating with me on this one, so it took me awhile to get there. Eventually I ended up with something pretty silly and fun, and I'm happy with how it came out. :)

I liked this project! I thought doing the two "projects" in one was really interesting and I liked the concept. The planning was more difficult than the actual filming, since we had to make a detailed plan. I feel like I didn't stick to the timing or script portion of mine. I thought the narrative was more interesting and fun to work with compared to the documentary, because I feel like there was more room for creativity in that aspect.

Some challenges were editing it and putting the finished video together, I feel like I could have done a better job but even then it was nice to work on.

Working on the infotainment showed me different ways to use shots. It help me moving forward that I don't have to stick to a amount that is minimal and focus more outside the box. It was a fun thing to do and I could do it again. I prefer the either or but the documentary is easier.

With the first video project being pretty easy I would think it got harder as the year went on but it really doesn't, there is just a tad bit more complicated video production needed.

Once it was told that I would have to create a documentary, and more likely a how to video, I knew that there were some great struggles with drawing hands. It would make sense to make a tutorial for such a task, and it was easy to explain the troubles of drawing, since everyone struggles at some point to draw a hand. I was able to come up with my script, visuals, and auditory, in one class period. My main obstacle was finding a time to film. I wasn't able to do some until much later into the week, which already put me behind for creating a logical timeframe for post. I attempted to start editing the footage the day that I had filmed it on my phone. Sadly, zero of the video would upload to my computer, so I had to attempt mobile edit of the Infotainment. There were too many struggles going through it on my phone accept being open to slowing down my editing process, since a mobile device can only handle so much time lapsed footage. Next time I film, I won't be using my phone so I can skip over the torture of mobile video editing.

The Infotainment project I had a hard time making a concept for it, and the brainstorm boggled my mind and I just couldn't get anything down that I thought was an actual good idea. Overall the whole thing ended up not how I wanted it and it was just a mess, but I learned that I needed to plan better and that I need to take charge and be more focused when it comes to these kinds of projects.

I had lots of fun making the infotainment video. I knew that I wasn't going to be here the week we were doing this project so I had to improvise. I decide to do a video on what I ate at Disneyland and my narrative was going to be about someone eating a plate of food under a certain amount of time. Making both of them was fairly easy because for my documentary I just need some pictures of the food I ate. So for the narrative I just took a video of me eating and some clips of me talking. I liked the documentary the most because I really like eating and trying the new food. I realized of easy it was to just talk over the picture of the food. I want to take more time in the quality of the pictures.

I preferred to work on the Documentary because it was more fun. Some struggles I had was the audio because when I was makin my video there was a lot of wind. One goal I have is to get better at editing because I feel like it would make my video look 10x better.

When I started my Infotainment project, I had a lot of fun thinking about what I was going to do for it. I had planned out what was going to happen for both the narrative and documentary parts of the project and then procrastinated actually filming them. I had drawn a title card for it and had music picked out, yet I kept thinking that I could just wait to film it later because I was "practically done with everything" which didn't work out for me. I did the same thing with the origin story video which I really regret because I wrote a script that I was pretty proud of which I never ended up using. I've begun to realize that I need to start prioritizing my work rather than doing whatever I think is fun in the moment, and it sucks that it took me not doing two big projects to realize that.

I prefer to do the documentary because for me its more easier and simple and its based off of like what you know how to do or something your good at. Some struggles were the narrative part of it. For me that was harder because trying to figure out what to do that connects to my documentary part of it. My goal would be to make sure I have everything planed and worked out.

When I was creating the process for my Infotainment it was a pretty hard but fun experience even though it was rushed in the end I still had fun learning more about wevideo and using a camera with a tripod. I prefer to work on narrative because I have mostly a creative mindset and like to creations that are unbelievably to the human eyes so when I do narrative it feels more comforting then doing Documentary videos but don't get wrong I still think Documentary it pretty fun to do just not as much as Narrative. My two BIGGEST struggles was trying to direct the camera to where people can see my art work for my documentary and be able to see it. Second one was trying to put this all into a 1 minute video cause is till had a lot of more idea but I did get to put all of them in which is sad but I always save them for out next big project we will have. My goal is to try and put more effort into the next project video then this one cause the other one was rushed and I hate that.

I preferred to work on the Narrative because it was a lot more open to creativity and was more fun to film which as Documentary was a little more boring. I had issues with the drone at least with the movement of the drone. The drone its self was great. Next time I would definitely put more effort into planning because with the type of video that we did it was harder with little to no plan.

My experience so far has been great. I love working with with my buds and having to take the same shot again and again till its perfect. I loved creating a story board and coming up with new ideas for the perfect shot. My favorite recording so far have been the "Long short story", Jump cut, and my Origin story because I fun while doing it and I had time to mess up and try again. My least favorite recording was the Infotainment Video Project because it was rushed and I didn't have time to do ant retakes as well as stressed about creating it because I didn't have a good idea for it. My main goal moving forward is to pass this class with a A+ as well as being picked for the movie trailer at the end of the year to make a movie next year.

It was pretty cool and fun. I like both, Documentary and Narrative but I think I would have to chose Documentary cause its cool to make story's of what has happened to you in real life and possibly make it into a short film. I did struggle a lot because I had some missing films so it's a little hard to go back and film, edit, all while doing the work you need to do right now but its possible. I would also get stuck on editing cause sometimes it is a little hard but then you get the hand of it and become a edit pro. The project I really enjoyed has to be the jump-cut shot it was fun to film and to edit was more fun. The goal I have for myself is to get better at editing and to do more projects so I can get better and it can be easier for me.

Looking back on it, My infotainment project was very interesting and creative. I had a lot of fun doing the pre-production and trying to come up with the silliest ideas, It was a bit hard trying to find what I was good at though, During the actual production and recording I had my brother assist me. I may have gotten hit with a tripod one or two times but all in all it was fun to bond with my brother and also do work. I enjoyed this project more than anything honestly. Making eggs was more fun than I expected lol. I preferred to work on the narrative more because it was fun to mess around with whatever I thought of to put in my video. Some struggles I had were trying to find out if I wanted background music or not and when to add it in. I decided to add suspenseful music for the narrative part and a different type of music (I don't know what it's called) to the documentary part. The biggest take-away I had from this project was that it is easier to do projects with someone who has a creative mind. A goal I had moving forward is to work on my time management skill and start working on production as early as I can.

I liked filming both videos, it was kind of hard because i had to record with my nephew and he would not cooperate so it was annoying but other than that it was cool and interesting. I think i liked filming the narrative more because you can make anything up, like anything that comes to mind so that is cool. A goal that i have for myself is to be more prepared next time as well as maybe not film with my nephew cuz he made it harder than it should've been in the first place.

I liked working on the documentary more because it was a step by step and easier to set up and exicute the final product. One struggle I had was editing some of the videos were to long so I had to shorten most of the clips. I don't want to procrastinate so much and film when I'm alone.

When creating the infotainment project, I had a hard time with planning my talent on the pre-production. However once a picked making cookies, it all fell apart, as I didn't have anything to make cookies with, and had to shoot on my Chromebook at 3 am. However the narrative part flowed pretty quickly although it wasn't the most interesting thing in the world. I didn't like this project, as it wasn't a group project and we had to work on it on our own. Moving forward a can make sure I'm more prepared for my plans in the future.

I preferred to work on my narrative story over my documentary story because I got to act more rather than just giving instructions. It was really fun setting up my camera so record different shots and getting expressive at certain parts of my film. I didn't really struggle much besides procrastinating and turning my work in late, I had so much fun editing and filming! One take away that I have is that shooting different angles/shots of the same scene is super useful. To improve my final products in the future, I want to write out a full script so I know what I want to say and don't have to make up anything on the spot.

It was a fun process filming and editing all the parts. I preferred to film the narrative story. I preferred this because it gave me more chances to be more creative and it was just overall more fun to film, One of the struggles was figuring out how to bring the narrative story to film but I got it figured out. Next time I could maybe get better quality or get more variety of shots.

My experience of creating my infotainment project was really fun and intriguing to do. Once i started the project i got sucked into the whole process. It was exciting and really easy which was a shock. My favorite type of storytelling would probably be narrative because i like to make things up and create new scenarios. I didn't come over any struggles i would say but a big take away i got from this is that it is really fun and gets your brain going. One thing i want to improve on moving forward is planning ahead and giving my self more time to edit.

Creating my Infotainment project was easy for the most part. I enjoyed working on the narrative more because I was able to move around more and it took less time. My biggest struggle was finding camera angles and where I could set my phone. It was also irritating that I lost a lot of footage from my narrative story but I was able to work it out. My goal is to figure out ways I can set my phone to get better angles and also place my angles so that they are more significant instead of me finding anywhere for my phone to go.

Production was easy like i said the most hard part is pre-production ,i was done with production in 2 hours. Editing was easy. Pre-production went pretty smooth, just that we were having a little difficulty picking our positions but we figured it out in the end. Productions was fine we had a little bit of time and a a-lot to record and I wish we were able to get one more tape but its fine. Wrapping up was very smooth I had an idea already but that idea took a minute and I didn't finish the first class. I liked documentary a-lot more for sure because I feel like your able to tell your story then a fake story that has already been told before. We sure need to improve on working quicker and set up when we were first able to but other then time management I think we are cool for now and maybe a little better edited videos.

In my experience working on this project, it was a hassle having to deal with bad editing software, tech issues and weather issues. However, I probably shouldn't use that as an excuse to have put off the project because I could've knocked it out the day it was assigned. When filming both I had some fun doing it because skateboarding is something I like, It was kinda just like recording myself progressing again. The only bad part is that I fell a lot because failing an ollie on purpose is sucks and I hate doing it, I'm not saying I have a perfect ollie or wtv I'm still garbage but it sucks having to hold back I guess. My goal though is to stop procrastinating and get better so I can do other tricks.

My Reflection on the Infotainment Video Project is that I feel like I could've chosen something better to talk about even though I didn't finish the video quite yet i feel like it was hard to find a topic about what i wanted to document and then the narrative one. I prefer working on the documentary cause I'm showing what I'm doing now having to say a story and then felt like it was easier to talk about. My struggle was being on track like I do a sentence then forget and don't start and feel like that's honestly a bad habit like i start filming then i get overwhelmed because of how i cant the right clips and that was also a big take on the process was like di u sound great did u look the ay u wanted to and my Goal was to keep trying don't just give up cause of the first try and hopefully be more on time then just lettings it pile and pike instead work on it then letting it be trash and more clips in the future and don't compare videos from others, I genuinely

I prefer to work in documentary style because to me it seems more put together and more organized. One of my biggest struggles was narrative video production because I'm not that creative so I feel like documentary style is easier to make and write for a script for and a couple of my takeaways are camera angles define the shot it can evoke feeling into the person watching your film it make keep them engaged. I feel like a shot can tell a whole story in a sense and my goal is to take advantage of that and to improve my work using a variety of shots

I had a really new and fun experience making my infotainment project. I preferred the narrative more because I could make a story and I could have more freedom because it didn't have to be fact based or realistic. A struggle I had was in filming because I had to have my younger brother film me so I had to teach him the shots and what had to be in the shot as well as how to track me and getting different angles. My biggest ah-ah moment was when I had the idea to add an explosion when I tackled my friend. A goal I have for next time is to have a more thought out plan for filming and getting a long enough film.

When I first started brainstorming I had very few ideas but then as I started asking questions and thinking more ideas were coming to my head. As I was writing down my steps I got a little confused on some things I wanted to say and the different types of shots but I still used a great mindset and worked to get done with it. When it came to recording and picking up my phone to record I was a little lazy but I still got up and got to work. I feel as the documentary one was more harder than the narrative because I had to keep stopping and turning the video back on for the different steps but I still tried my best. When it came down to editing I was also very irritated because my videos took long to go through my google drive but as I got them through I got right to work. The editing wasn't very hard but it was pretty tricky because my documentary was longer than it should of been but I still added music, voice overs and tried to make it look nice. I would say doing both documentary and narrative were pretty fun but if I had to choose one I would say narrative because it was fun making it because it wasn't real. Through the process of brainstorming, recording, and editing I did struggle, I also struggle a lot with anxiety so picking up a camera and recording myself was very brave of me and I feel like coming into this class I have gotten better with recording myself and getting more use to editing. I would say I need to work on timing my videos instead of getting stressed and just wanting to do the video and be done with it and another thing is I think I have a creative mindset but I want to get better at thinking of new ideas. Lastly, when growing up I always wanted to do YouTube and I would pick up my phone and do GRWMS and just make vlogs, and I feel like when coming into this classroom and working on different things and learning on how to use a camera and how how to edit I feel like this really helped me more about thinking to do YouTube. Another thing is when wanting to do YouTube I thought I just needed to pick up a camera and record but NO, I need to really edit a long video and make it look nice for others to watch. After wrapping up with pre-production and production, I honestly thought it was fun to bring to life my vision that I'd had for the film. In my humble opinion, I think that I prefer to work on narrative film, because working on a narrative film is like a blank canvas. You could let your imagination run wild and come up with interesting concepts, however sometimes its hard to make the final product right, cause no everything is right the first time and so you would have to come up with something different. My goal is to continue to improve and eventually get better at the career that I love and appreciate.

My overall experience in creating my infotainment video project has been ok except I haven't been able to complete the whole project. Out of the two types of story telling I would prefer documentary because when doing documentary storytelling, you have to do research depending on what your story is about I also just think that doing or telling documentaries is so much more fun and you just get to have a better experience. Documentaries also tell you a lot depending on what kind of documentary it is, but when making a documentary it can be a bit complicated because sometimes you cant find the proper information that you'll need and without the information or research you cant really make a documentary. Narrative was also fun to work with cause your able to kind of make up your own story and use your own creativity to explain the story/. I think some goals that ill set to move forward to improve my process or my final product, would definitely be focusing a little bit more and getting distracted, also keeping track of everything so that I can finish the project on time and not have it done late. I also hope to be able to put some more creativity into my project. So overall making the infotainment project has been a fun experience and I would definitely do it again so that I can add some more creativity to it.

I had a lot of fun making the project. I think the narrative was more fun to make because it was more creative and just fun to make in general. The only bad thing about the video was the quality which kind of sucks but that's it.

I'm still working on it and will be turning it in today but it was very fun to film. I preferred the documentary because I felt like it was a lot easier for what I was making my video about. Some struggles were finding out what angles to film at. I took away that it was actually way easier than I thought it would be. A goal I have moving forward is to take my time and edit and film it the best I can.

The infotainment was a both fun yet stressful-ish project to film as certain shots didn't entirely work the way I wanted them to work as well as my whole second monitor fiasco. However, I was happy with what I did in the end and liked how it did turn out despite my original ideas. Part of the narrative filming was also rushed due to how my partner was helping film while also on a time crunch. My goal to improve is to just rethink certain shots and to think about storyboarding before filming. Overall, fun project and I cannot wait for the next one.

I'm not gonna lie but I wasn't really satisfied with my project. I had an idea that I liked but when it was time to act it out I realized that I couldn't do most of the things so I just made a whole different one and I rushed it. Moving forward I'm going to make my plans more realistic by checking if I can even do it before I finish my plan so I am more prepared next time.

I prefer working on documentary because it's easy to explain and show how things work like showing people how to do a professional push up or pull up. Narrative is alright but it's to much work for me and a little bit difficult for me talk about the main part of a theme. My goal for next would be adding more details to a documentary to make it sound sense for my videos.

My experience creating the infotainment project involved a lot of creativity and thinking. I preferred to work on documentary storytelling because it informed and helped the audience understand a new concept or material. A couple struggles were when I had to think about getting different angles and shots and which would work the best. Another struggle was finding the right music for this project. In conclusion this project really helped me expand my creativity in may ways and made me think outside of the box.

I think for me I like the narrative better only because it made me think more and be more creative with my thinking, so I came up with more ideas to be creative. Two goals I have is to be more focus and don't waste free time to not do work if I was more focus and worked harder, I think it would have come out better like my other edits I had done.

during the infotainent project i did not finish my documentary or my narrative . i did the brainstorm and pre production and it went well as my project is about somthing i liked . i struggled to finish the filming prosses becuase i did not have storage on my phone . i plan to be more propared for the next project

The first roadblock was what I was gonna make the project about. Thinking of an idea can sometimes be easy or hard. But I decided to do it on making steak after I saw an example of someone else teaching how to make other food. After that, I got my camera. Recorded with a body cam and after came the second thing that slowed me down was my procrastination. I didn't really want to sit down and edit 20-30 minutes of clip down to 2-3 minutes so everyday I would think "I'm gonna do it today." But then later in the day I would forget to do it. However, I was in class with nothing to do so I just did it. Even though it would take a long time for me to upload it from my phone to the drive. I decided to just edit some parts from my phone and complete the editing on wevideo so it wouldn't take as long to upload. One goal I want to work on is time responsibility and to finish stuff earlier instead of just forgetting about it because it would of been soo much easier and less stress if I just completed it early on. Also the camera angle sucked on my body cam so most of the "main" stuff was a little cut off at the bottom because I forgot about that.

For the infotainment project I liked making the documentary more because ideas actually come to my head instantly on how to make it but for the narrative it took me longer to figure out what I wanted to do. I didn't get to record any of the videos because I got sick for 4 days so that was struggle but hopefully I still pass with a B because I did the pre production and brainstorm next time I will definitely record it and finish it.

Creating the infotainment project was fun and still helped me learn new skills. The pre production was easy and helpful the production was very easy it was just the same stuff I've been doing and wrapping it up and doing editing was just time consuming. we chose to work on naritive and i think it is just more fun to make and i did not have any strugels and a big take awy was just the audio and handheld stuff. a goal i have moving on is just to keep my grade up and keep learning.

the reflection I have on this project is even though i did not turn it in while i was recording i had a lot of fun filming it. i had some struggles with how i wanted the cameras to be. but the best part was filming it even when i was doing it alone in my room.

I liked to film narratives because they are real and making a film with real people is way easier and fun. One major struggle was during our film time we had to deal with the rain and even hail at one point. Some ah-ha's would be thinking of using the weight room to get some shots that made the film a lot better and more understandable. A goal I have moving forward is using the different types of shots more often because I have been using maybe 5 or 6.

I had a lot of fun recording for my Infotainment project. I got to learn to bake thanks to my supportive family members. We had a few hiccups along the way, but that is what made this project even more fun to record. Despite everything that happened, me and my family had a blast recording this, and I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did.

Seeing this video project come together was really cool to see, because I did mine about skating it took a while longer to do than expected because of me recording by my self, it would takes up seconds long to film small bits. And because I was rolling skating in a small area in my backyard, I of course fell a couple of times, nothing bad though, the editing process took the longest I think I've learned that I take long to edit videos, which is ok, but sucks when there's a time crunch a little bit, I think a main reason this took the longest so far is because lots of how long the videos where, and because it took me while to mind the right audios and video stock, I think next time, I just need to record thing more shorter.

It was actually super fun! I loved making new friends along the way of these journeys I've had in this class. As it was also super fun to edit, video, and interpret new things. I liked Narrative, since you could add different fictional things to your video and make it funny or exciting to be creative. I had an ah-ha moment when I would see a person in a shot with the person behind, which I thought was a two-shot since it had two people in it. But after I asked the teacher, it was called a dirty single, which was an ah-ha moment for me. A big take away for me was when we actually went deeper into the Lumiere Brothers, it was super cool to see how they filmed a film through very old technology by building it and actually creating footage through it. A goal for myself is to have better editing as I am hoping to get better throughout the rest of this class.

The pre production was easy to make but making it was the hard part, and in the end completing it was a great relief. Out of the two of the storytelling I would say documentary was the easiest because you just had to tell and give information to the the viewer who is watching the video. The struggles I had in making the video was finding the right to make the video so I don't be seen by my family. The ah-has were being able film it and editing the video to finally be done with the film. Two goals I have for the future is to just do the film and stop caring so much, like it doesn't matter if their home as long as I finish it I'm comfortable.

I preferred to work on narrative videos because with friends it was more fun to make and less boring than a documentary. my struggles were thinking of ideas for a story. a goal for next time is to have better time management and think of mores ideas for story's.

I preferred working on the documentary because it was much easier to find facts about sleep than rather trying to create a story about it. A struggle that occurred repeatedly was a group member trying to take lead but ended up being more bossy than a leader. A ah-ha moment is when we found the cot in the production room being constantly used but we found we can use the couches in the classroom just as well. A few takeaways were getting to know and sharing laughs with people I never thought I would before, this being a video im proud of, and being proud of my camera skills. A goal I have for the process for next time is I shouldn't be stubborn and include all of my group next time planning.

when I was making my infotainment documentary the first step was to do my pre production. my preproduction wasn't that hard at all I just used my brain and created a plan for my infotainment documentary video. then I went into the production faze which was a little complicated because I didn't know if I still wanted to do my first plan and idea from my preproduction but I made up my mind and followed through with my first idea. then I wrapped up my documentary infotainment video but then I kind of got stuck on how I could use my first idea but in a fictional narrative type of way so that what I got stuck on for my narrative video and I didn't try to think of something. I preferred working on my documentary infotainment because its much more simple and you don't have tp be very creative and it was easier. next time I'm going to make sure to try my hardest because I didn't this time and I will make something that is fun and good quality.

My experience of creating infotainment video project is that I thought of a idea and it was a good idea but I never ended up finishing it your start editing I think what stop me is that I liked doing the other projects with other people and I finished those just never did the ones you had to do by yourself because I found it boring and uninterested my goal from moving forward is to improve working by myself and make sure I have a ending to every project Comments are closed.
